I got this as a Christmas present for a friend who is into this type of magic. He's been learning/practicing for a number of years, and considers himself intermediate. This review is based on what he told me.He loved the book. He's had several others, but says this is one of, if not the best one he's read. He had a lot of praise for the layout. The wording and pictures were both very clear and told/showed you exactly what you need to know. I was very excited about the QR codes with a link to videos of the tricks, thinking this would be very helpful. While my friend thought it was a great idea, he said that honestly he hadn't needed to use them yet (as of this writing) because the text and pictures were enough for him to learn what he needed to know.He said he thought this book would be good for people from beginners up to intermediate. He's learned a number of tricks from the book and showed them to me, and they are quite cool. He's getting a lot of use out of it, and has had nothing but good things to say about it. (He wasn't just being nice because it was a gift; I can tell the difference, and this was genuine - lol).Sounds like a winner.

Owen has been a You Tube for many years presenting great videos of different magic tricks suitable for different levels of experience. His videos are of the highest caliber in terms of content, style and presentation. His book of Mind Blowing Magic tricks does not disappointed. The book itself is well constructed and the tricks are thought provoking and well instructed. Each trick has step-by-step pictures with a linked to an video presentation. This is probably one of the best book on magic I’ve ever purchased. With patience and practice, you will find yourself entertaining family, friends and strangers who will soon be your friends.I can’t recommend this enough.

This book is great for beginners and above! Easy yet powerful effects. Quality paper stock with excellent color photos to accompany every trick PLUS a QR CODE to scan an actual performance. Well thought out book and the price is extremely reasonable.

It is perfect for beginners who are looking to learn the strongest magic effects out there, in a simple and easy-to-follow environment. Not only are the tricks INSANE, but you can learn them fast (without any previous experience needed). Oscar has included QR codes on each page, so you can actually watch a performance of each trick before you learn it. This was so helpful and allowed me learn in minutes rather than hours. At first: I live in Germany and German is my mothertongue. Although my English is fluent, I have to state that every explanation is very easy to understand, even for less experienced speakers! Filled up with pics, QR-Codes for seeing Oscar perform and hints on "how to present" and even a JOKE BANK, this book will lead you in almost no time to success. Everybody who knows Oscars YT-Channel, can be assured that the tricks in that book are explained in the same accurate way. I ordered my book in November 21 and it was delivered to me a few days ago. And it was worth the wait! Great mixture of card/mentalism/every day objects. Love it!
