How many lbs does the handle weigh?

On my scale one dumbbell bar with the collars on is approximately 3.5 lbs. Each collar is about 0.5 lbs. and the bar itself without the collars is about 2.5 lbs. I hope this helps.

How long are the hand hold portion of the bars? I have large hands, so I'm going to order fatgrips for an easier grip.

I use fat grips on these as well; the inside length for the hand hold portion is a touch over five inches, which accommodates the fat grips nicely.

how long is the threaded portion?

Each end has 4 inches of threads but the collar is 1/2 inch so you can get 3 and 1/2 inches of weights on each end.

I bought 1" quick release weight locks to use on these and they are too big yet the ones that come with don't stay tight. What else can I use?

Most people generally accept that the twist ons just come loose, and you must check them between sets :( There are some collars that have a bolt style lock, however I’m not sure if they will work with these handles.
