The I Love You Book

Ordered this new book. Was definitely not in a new condition when arrived, edges off the pages had slight rips in them, has indentations where things had been previously been I top of the book and looks in a well used condition.Also this was purchased as a gift as we already have the book and this one is slit smaller and half the pages / content of the book I have which is odd.

The book arrived with scratches, dents and marks on it already. Also in the description it says this is the new addition with a puffy heart on the front...the one we received didn't have this.We already have this book and love it. Both my kids have enjoyed it very much. But I was buying this as a present for a friend's new baby. I can't give it in this condition and was disappointed that it didn't have the new design on the front as stated. I'm sending it back I'm afraid.Also having dug out our original copy of this book which my children adored , in comparison there are pages/leaves missing from the one I have just received which is 8 scenarios so I'd say this is a copy not an original version of the book. Please see my photos for comparison in thickness of the books . Very disappointing.

very nice book.It basically says 'I love you no matter how you are... whether you are good or not..'lots of pages... very satisfying compared to some books that end very quickly.I do understand this is used to show a universal picture of parents loving their children...but the only thing I have to say is that my 3 year old got a little confused as every page features a different child with a different parent. When I read it to him, he thinks its about him which it sort of is... but then each page features a different child, sometimes a baby and sometimes a toddler,..

We enjoy this book in our house. It carries the simple but strong message of "I love you no matter what" without being cheesy or moralistic. It has examples of times when the narrator loves the reader that children can relate to in day to day life accompanied by bright illustrations that children will love.

This book arrived today. Ive read it about 6 times already at the request of my daughter. She loves it and can already read it herself. Lovely message easily accessible to children with great illustrations. I'll be buying again.
