Winsome Oversize Snack Table Set, Walnut

I bought this set of table because my two of my old wooden TV tables are cracked, and overall they're just not as big as I'd like. The wooden tables I had before are a lighter oak color, which went well with the furniture I had at the time, and were adequate. But at 19"Wx14"Dx25"H, they were just not as large as I really needed.These are 23"Wx15"Dx25"H, and the few extra inches really make a difference. These look beautiful and seem pretty solid, though they're not heavy. The stand was the only part requiring assembly, and it didn't take me long to put it together, maybe 20 minutes or half an hour. I'm a woman, and have very weak wrists/hands due to a medical condition, but it was pretty easy to put this together by myself, though I had to go back and tighten the screws a few times once I thought I was done.What I love about these tables is they're even more useful than I realized when I ordered them. Because of their size and height, I can also use them as end tables in the living room, and will be able to use them on my covered balcony as well. I don't have patio furniture yet, but I had some folding chairs, and these tables are the perfect height to go with them, to put drinks, snacks, etc. on. I'm not sure how they'll hold up for that purpose, because they're not intended for outside use, as far as I know. But it will be easy enough to fold the table up and bring it back inside if it starts raining, or if I'm through using it. They're very portable.The other thing I intend to use it for is a temporary nightstand in the guest bedroom. My father was saying I should have a nightstand on both sides of the bed, and since right now I can't afford one, this is a good height to put next to the bed, and it should easily hold the weight of a small lamp. I only received these yesterday so I haven't had a chance to really use them yet, but I'm very happy with the purchase and they're well worth the money ($76 for the set at the time I bought it). I was hesitant to pay that much for an item online, without being able to see it in person, but I'm very pleased. These nicely match my dark brown furniture, and the stand with tables looks very nice in my living room.I recommend this set to anyone who is looking for good-looking, sturdy tables for a variety of uses, that can be stacked away attractively when not in use. I don't need to hide these in the back of the hall closet when I'm not using them, because they look like they're supposed to be part of the furnishings. I'm sure I'll find more uses for them in the future, and I'm very happy that they're so versatile.

Love these trays. Really no assembly. Sturdy and Attractive

I spent about 3 hours surfing Amazon to find the right tray tables for my house. I did not want junk or flimsy so I decided on these. Here are the pro's - they are solid wood. They are easy to assemble and they probably will last a very long time unlike cheap ones that fall apart or wobble.Con's - they went on sale $40 in just 10 days after I purchased. This might not be a big deal to some but it is to someone on a very tight income. I wish I waited a few weeks if i knew they would be marked down. For the $109 price ticket they are worth it.Second con - they are heavy so when you go to fold them, they snap down and pinch the heck out of your fingers and it HURTS. I learned to place them upside down on the floor and fold it that way.Third con - one of my tables had a warped leg and it would not fold right.Fourth con - they are extremely heavy - might not be a good choice for some. All 4 tables in the carrier are very heavy to move should you need to.So the good news is, they sent me a replacement table for free - but it was not a total match to the teak coloring which they let me know it might not be. if I waited I could have got them for $40 less - Amazon does this strange markdown thing so I guess from now on I put something in the cart and keep an eye on it do drop before I purchase.Anyhow, if your in search of very heavy tables get them. If you don't want super heavy and solid wood is not that big a deal go for the others. These are also a tad bigger then your average tray table.

I would give 5 stars but I ordered the Oyster Grey and I'm very disappointed in the color. No grey tint in these whatsoever, more of a medium brown. I'm keeping them because I don't want to deal with the hassle of sending them back.The tables were already assembled and the stand took me 5 minutes to put together.2 of the tables were damaged. We did email the company for replacements of the 2 damaged tables but still waiting on a response from them.

Much better in appearance than photos depict. Large surface area which is what we were seeking. Sturdy. Storage rack is easy to assemble. Basically, exceeded expections in virtually every parameter.

I bought these tables to replace some old TV trays that were rather unsteady. These are Rock Solid you can drag them they don't wobble or vibrate. I really can appreciate the heavy duty manufacturing of this piece or pieces I should say. I had a problem with a chipped table upon delivery. I contacted customer service, we discussed it and they immediately sent out a replacement table. Their customer service was easy to contact. Easy to deal with and I would say exceptional in how quickly they followed up and replaced the damaged piece. Things happen and things don't always arrive 100% as we want them to and that's where the customer service comes in. Above All Else to me. Definitely a five-star for this company. As well as these tables are built I won't be buying them again for myself but I definitely will think about buying them for others as gifts. Very solid and affordable.

These tables are replacements for a much older set of steel tubing and plastic topped "TV Trays" that have become stained and scarred. I REALLY like the solid wood construction. They are larger, in surface area, and quite beautiful pieces of furniture. They suit my purpose much better than those that had gone before!

These tables arrived today. I just opened the carton and assembled the stand. The tables are gorgeous! Nicely finished solid wood tables. Quality is very good and the finish is very attractive. They are sturdy and look like they will provide years of use The stand needs to be assembled but is easy to do. Quality hardware is included and no extra tools necessary. The stand is great and quite sturdy. My only qualm was the fact that they were made in Thailand...I had assumed they were made in the USA or Canada. Regardless these are well made and very attractive TV tables and solid wood to boot. I am impressed with the price as well. Shipping was extremely fast too!

The Winsome Wood Dylan 5-PC Oversize Snack Table Set arrived in excellent condition. No scratches, blemishes or gouges. Other reviews indicated the stand was not sturdy, and had to be tightened after use. To prevent that problem, I followed a suggestion by another reviewer and applied carpenters glue on the joints before screwing the stand together. The stand is now very solid and trust the joints becoming loose will not be a problem. I highly recommend these tables, providing ample time is taken in assembling the stand, not rushing and gluing all the joints before inserting the screws.
