One of the best purchases of my life
I bought this mailbox because someone stole a credit card offer from my previous traditional mailbox. With this mailbox I can live day to day without this fear nagging in the back of my head. It's perfect for anyone that is gone from home for long hours or even days as it can hold nearly a months worth of mail. Very, very rarely does the contents get wet and it usually only happens with extreme storms and even with that it's barely wet. After a year the mailbox is still holding strong and basically looks new, aside from natural debris that has landed on it. The door and lock mechanism still function as well as the day I got it. The capacity can hold a full manilla envelope and most Amazon packages. I had porch pirates that totally ignored my security cameras but somehow this mailbox made them stop checking my porch for packages. I don't get the logic but I'm not going to complain.Installation was easy for the most part, provided you know how to handle a screwdriver. The mailbox itself is pretty heavy, but I find it to be a positive. When attached to a solid post this mailbox is a force to be reckoned with. Being entirely metal and fairly heavy it would be difficult to steal. Solo installation is possible but it would honestly be a bit difficult due to the weight unless you prepared for it beforehand. Mine was installed by a single person. The hardware required to attach it to a post is included so the only thing you'd be concerned with is how you'd like to mount the mailbox.Also my parents have this mailbox since 2019 and theirs is holding up just as well as mine.Anyway, 10/10 worth every penny it cost. My only regret is not getting this sooner back when my parents did.

no incluye base alguna ni para pared ni para piso
El Buzon es una chulada! De primera. Lujoso y excelentes materiales. Pero…..Cuando quise colocarlo no había manera xq en La pared se obstruye para abrirse.Fui directo a su página y no hay las bases como tal ahí. Había que comunicarse y pedirla y fue un show. Terminé mandándola a hacer con un herrero.

Very solid and strong mailbox. Much better than expected.
If you want a strong mailbox - (not made of think materials easily dented) then this mailbox is for you. Large size, easy access and well designed. Says on door USPS Approved - I think that is an important issue to pay attention to. Would be nice if directions had a "template" for base board holes. Would be nice if directions had dimensions for base board size. I'm often critical of cheap stuff and this mailbox does not get much criticism from me. A well made Mailbox!
