Skeptical first
a bit skeptical about the length before buying. now i find the length and the weight are both good and easy to use. however, after several months of use, i found that those with thin a edge / blade tears easily

Needs longer handle
So far so good as for quality but this really needs a longer handle on the spatula. I have used it twice and burned my finger twice. I compared it to my other patulas and it’s about and inch to inch and half shorter. When I’m flipping in the pan my finger grazes the edge. I’m this picture my spatula isn’t even all the way into the pan so if I put it any further (so actually flipping the food) then my fingers get burned. Too bad. I love this set. Maybe I need to invest in another silicone set with longer handles.

These are my GO TO when cooking now... the flat spatula isn't my favorite
These have become my all time favorite cooking utensils! I had originally received the XL set and they were so large they didn't fit in a jar under my kitchen cabinets. With that being said I returned them and purchased the Basics set. I have bent many spoons/spatulas in my time from leaving them sitting in the pan a little too long... NONE of these have "melted" in any way during use! They generally will wipe clean without effort and are dishwasher safe! The silicone has not chipped or failed in any way in the last 8 months of regular use. The "spoonula" is such a great combination tool. The end half inch or so is very flexible but the center is sturdy. It's great for any meals with gravy or sauce where you constantly struggle to stir the food AND scrape the sides of the pan.The ONLY two issues I've had with the set is #1 that the flat spatula tend to bend if you try to "scrape" anything or put any pressure on it. It will pick up a burger or a fish without giving to the weight but any actual pressure and it does bend. #2 the flat spatula because of the silicone is actually quite thick. When we make over easy eggs it's hard to get something that thick under the eggs without folding the flimsy egg under itself. But that's my complaints. As a side note I have the Starpack rubber spatulas that match this set and I LOVE THEM TOO! I would highly suggest this set for anyone looking for a great utensil with some decorative flair.

Great Utensils That Work Well and are Easty to Clean
I needed to replace my stainless steel cooking utensils when I purchased a fairly expense wok with a Teflon-like coating for my wife. After searching the multitude of silicone and wooden utensils on amazon, I discovered these StarPack Premium Silicone Kitchen Utensils. I selected the "premium" models instead of StarPack's "regular" line because I wanted silicone utensils that could withstand cooking temperatures up to 600 degrees F. I immediately liked the look and feel of these utensils, which are a pleasure to hold and simple to wash... Food literally falls off the utensils when held under the faucet for cleaning, and while they are dishwasher safe, it's so easy to clean I hardly ever throw them in the dishwasher. Also, the slightly rubbery finish is somewhat flexible, but still stiff enough to cut slabs of lasagna and neatly lift them out of the baking pan. I liked these StarPack Premium Utensils so much that I quickly ordered a large spoon and spaghetti spoon...without damaging the Teflon interior of the baking pan. The dark grey color has stayed consistent on all of the utensils after three months of use, including the few that I have washed in the dishwasher. I highly recommend them.

Metal is soft but silicone is nice
The silicone is perfectly heat resistant, and doesn’t get bits of silicone in our food (our old plastic ones were leaving behind bits of plastic from being melted, hence the switch). However, don’t think you can just leave the spatula on the hot pan, do something else (like fill up a pot of water) and come back and roughly scrape the pan again with the spatula, because the heat definitely softens whatever metal is within the utensil and you can very easily deform the utensil when the metal is hot. I wish the metal were more rigid, because I’m not sure if the metal can break within the silicone from being bent too much, and then destroy the silicone, but I guess time will tell. The silicone does protect my nonstick pans much better than the old plastic crap we had, and I like that it helps scrape some of the sauce off the side of pots and pans pretty easily too.
