These boots are great. A little hot in the sun all day but I have no other complaint. Good quality, long lasting, and affordable. These boots are very comfortable and I got what I expected to find in a work boot. You will not be sorry if you buy these boots.

Read this if you're a girl trying to pick a size!
Sizing for women: I am actually a female entering an EMT course, and it is required to wear tactical boots such as these. I am usually a Women's US size 9 in Nike shoes, and an 8.5 in Vans, however I usually go based off my size 9 since its more consistent across most brands. Since the sizing for women to men tend to be 1.5-2 sizes smaller, I ordered a 7 and 7.5. The 7 ended up fitting perfectly, since the 7.5 there was room much more room in my shoe and I definitely noticed that when walking. Therefore, if you're a girl, order 2 sizes down from your normal size!Overall first impression:Very comfy shoes, definitely feel like I can stand in these all day. They remind me of my Merrell hiking boots! :)

The Original SWAT 1232 Air 9-inch Side-Zip Metro Traction Boot was recommended : I've gotta say I've never worn a more comfortable boot - highly recommended.

I've had these for a few months now and I really like them (I think I got a size too big however). But so far I haven't needed to put in gel inserts like I have had the last boots I wore.
