The 2-stage Pre-Filter (Filter #1 & #2) reduces sand, silt, sediment, rust and particles from water. The Carbon VOC (Filter #4) filter is made of high-quality activated carbon. It is designed to enhance the taste and prepare the water for consumption. The R.O. membrane is designed to reduce impurities from the water down to 1/10,000 of a micron, reducing dissolved solids, salinity, arsenic lead, parasitic cyst, copper, and more. The 2-stage Pre-Filter (Filter #1 & #2) will last six months. The Carbon VOC filter (Filter #4) will last one year or 600 gallons / 2,280 liters, whichever comes first. The Reverse Osmosis filter (Filter #3) will last two years or 1,200 gallons / 4,560 liters, whichever comes first.

Did The Trick!
The machine was getting slow and according to the lights on the front it was time for 2 of the 3 filters to be changed, so I came to Amazon to look for replacements. The only way that the filters were available to buy at the time was in sets which bothered me a little but the price seemed to be right for a 2 year supply and I went for it.I did a thorough cleaning of the machine's tanks with vinegar and replaced the filters and then the thing ran like it did when it was new!(Helpful Hint)... If you have hard water like mine is then about once a month just put a few inches of strait white vinegar in the fresh water tank to keep the valves clean of mineral build-up, they'll start to leak otherwise.

Pure and safe water
I've owned my Aquatru water filter for 4 years with not one problem. The replacement filters are easy to change out and ensure that my water is safe, clean and pure. No lugging bottles of water from the store, no plastics going into the environment. Highly recommend this unit.

Good value
The price is right. When I first purchased my aquatru, I felt the only drawback for the it was the expensive filters that needed replacement. This two year combo pack definitely helps alleviate the price that you would normally pay if you were to buy them on their website. The filters come in individual boxes so that you can label them and store/stack them somewhere in the cabinet.
