WS-2700 is a great weather station
The WS-2700 is accurate, easy to read, and provides great information. I tested for accuracy with an additional hygrometer and thermometer. I didn't purchase the ac adapter. I've had this unit for two days shy of one year and just replaced the batteries for the first time. The instructions are clear and the unit is easy to set up. I like the small size and find that the display shows a lot of easy to read information. The backlight works well. When setting up and changing the batteries, everything but the clock was working immediately. The clock synched within a couple of hours, probably due to daytime solar interference mentioned on page 15 of the instruction manual. This has been a wonderful purchase.

Could be larger
This is replacing an older Oregon Scientific BAR208HGA that started loosing power. The instructions for this unit were lengthy but fairly easy to follow once I figured out the sequence. The Radio Controlled Clock took longer to acquire a signal than my older unit but eventually did after several hours. The sensor successfully transmitted about a hundred feet through a 15 ft section of thick trees, a small section of house and a window so no complaints there. When compared to my older unit and an accurate indoor thermometer plus local weather stations the outdoor and indoor temps and humidity were pretty much identical. The backlight is a nice feature. The ability to add additional sensors is also nice. Now the cons. The unit is fairly small but still pretty easy to read. What bugs me is the inclusion of icons meant to forcast the weather. I've always found these to be notoriously wrong and simply a waste of space. This, along with the large barometric reading take up way too much space that could be better devoted to an enlarged area at top for the time, moon phase, date and day and perhaps slightly larger numbers for indoor/outdoor temp/humidity. None of these issues are deal breakers but it would be nice for the manufacturer to address them in the future. With all this said, if you're looking for a compact weather monitor that provides a lot of useful information with a good degree of accuracy then I would recommend this unit.

Works wel
I've had this for several months now and it works well. I use batteries (didn't buy the AC adapter) and haven't had to change the batteries yet. Seems pretty accurate and I like that it's got 1/10 of a degree (the one it replaced only had whole degrees). No complaints. I recommend it. It's smaller than I was expecting though, that is, it's smaller than the one it replaced.

Accurate and easy to read
There are a lot of numbers on the display, so it takes a bit to know which are important to the user. I like the daily min/max data that is recorded along with the current temperature and humidity readings. I purchased the version of this item with 3 remotes since outdoor remotes seem to be the first things to fail over time. So I am only using one remote, but all three fired up and gave near identical readings on the in-house display. My dislikes: we have the in-house unit hanging on a wall. The case is strangely designed (not flat on the back) so that the top rear is not resting against the wall. I had to make a spacer to fill the void back there so the display light can be activated without pushing the top of the display backward toward the wall. Also, the display readout seems overly contrasty. Instructions mention that this can be adjusted, but my unit won't tone down the contrast. Still, I am happy with the unit overall.

Better than expected
Before purchasing I checked reviews of this weather station, as well as others. All models showed problems with the remote sensor. I likewise had to set up the remote three times, but after the final time I have had no more issues. I compare the readings against local weather apps and it is always accurate. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Slow to link to radio control signal for time and date.
Instrument can be slow to link to radio signal for time and date. Customer service told me it could take up to 30 days! When it did link, the time zone was wrong.

Good built quality, all important readings at a glance
Good built quality. Screen is big, clear and easy to read. Easy to setup. Nice white back light. Able to see the max and min temperature and humidity at a glance without needing to fiddle with the button. Monochrome display is good enough as I do not need to worry about power adapters or issues with mounting on the wall which could be a concern with the color model. Besides, the color model might not have good viewing angle. therefore I opted for the monochrome model.Edit 12th July 2021After using it, I'm happy with the device. However I just wanted to point out that there is no temperature or humidity trend. In the picture s you can see an arrow representing and upward or downward trend in temperature or humidity but I don't see that in my device.

A good unit at a very good price
I just received my WS-2700, and I am really pleased. It was easy to set up and only required relative barometric pressure calibration. Temperature readings were spot on compared to my Thermopen reference. The display is smaller than I expected, but it is still very readable. The backlight has a nice, uniform white lighting. I bought the AC adapter, but with the compact size I may not use it since it is so convenient to place the unit on and end table. I also really like the LCD display on the outdoor sensor.
