I was looking to purchase another after the lid started misbehaving after one year. I contacted the supplier who sent the following instructions which resolved the issue.Reset the Sensor: If the lid still does not respond even after changing the batteries, try resetting the sensor. Press and hold the close button for 3 seconds.Step 1: Whilst holding the button for 3 seconds, The light changes from Green to RedStep 2: Repeat the process, this time the light changes from red to green.This should reset the sensor and re-activate the lid's operation. Try waving your hand over the sensor to see if it responds.

I purchased the Trash Bin for 336.49 GBP on 12 October 2022. In September 2023, less than a year later the automatic lid packed up. In January 2024 I purchased a replacement lid, and in fact ordered two by mistake. It is now 3-months later and the first replacement lid has packed up. This is unacceptable for such an expensive product. Please inform me if I can send it back for another replacement. According to the Amazon Site, they have now upgraded the product as it was obviously problematic.

I purchase one of these 18 months ago and the sensor has stopped working. i have purchased a second one in the hope it lasts longer than the first one.
