I'm a little paranoid when it comes to my hair which is thinning but very long so I'm as gentle to it as I can be. I only wash it once a week, never use heat tools, sleep with a satin bonnet/head scarf and using several different hair brushes including some that were quite expensive. My hair tangles so easily, I can brush one side of the hair switch to do the other but already the first half is tangle just from moving it. I've had a tangle tweezer in the past as I bout the original one when it VERY first came out. I enjoyed the original however I found the bristles bent fairly quickly. My biggest issue was that it would constantly fly out of my hand especially as my hair is so long and it drove me mad. So much so that I stopped using it and moved onto other brushes. However when this one, the elite, was reccomended to me I thought I'd give a tangle teezer a second chance and I am so glad I did. In the hand it feels like it is so much sturdier and a higher quality and the rounded shape fit into the hand so much better than the original and hugs the curve pf your head too which really helps for giving a scalp stimulating massage which by the way this brush is AMAZING for. The bristles are rounded and not at all scratchy which means it doesn't irritate my scabby patches of psoriasis that are dotted around here and there. One of the things I love about tangle teezer style brushes is that they're so much easier to clean. One of my other brushes is use (that i LOVE and highly reccomend; the cantu detangling bristle brush for thick hair) is a nightmare to clean. Because I have 2 cats, one of which is a very floofy Ragdoll I get so much fluff and fuzz in my hair and that quickly builds up on my brushes even though I remove hair from my brushes every time I use them. It takes forever to pick out the fuzz from the bristles. With this tangle teezer however it is so much easier because of it being plastic it is so simple and quick to clean I just run it under the tap with a small amount of shampoo and use a soft tooth brush to thoroughly clean between bristles and then simply rinse. Done in 30seconds. It gently detangles my knotty hair and the amount of hair I lose when I brush is so much less than any other brush I use and that makes a big difference to me as my hair falls easily due to lupus and pcos. My first experience of a hair strangler and I'm impressed. I have thick curly afro type 4C hair, and I used this pre, during and post hair wash. Managed to de-tangle my hair in a fraction on the usual time. On dry hair would reccomend using a leave in conditioner first and brush in sections. I did mine in 4 sections! Holds really nicely in the hand and mine are small. The ergonomic design made it easy to brush from ends of hair to roots. Minimal hair shedding and I usually shed a lot.

Right so as a man, I really had no idea over the benefits of brushing your hair day in and day out, I always wear my hair up so I though there was no need, until I got persuaded to buy this brush my hair has never been so mat free I can tie it up and let it back down without the hair band getting stuck, and the best thing about it? IT DOESNT HURT TO BRUSH MY HAIR?! I don't know what kind of wizardry this is but it works.

Really easy to use.. easy to brush my 40 inch long hair. Even my husband who has Caribbean hair said it's easy to use and de tangles his hair with no effort. I've had this a for while now say maybe a few years and the. Brissels are still going strong. And it's been in my handbag and luggage a few times bashed a about of course not intentionally but still the quailty and integrity of the product is amazing. I've bought my nieces a detangler but the one with a handle as thereStill quite young. Amazing would recommend to a friend for sure. Specially if they have curly or real long hair. Great great value for money. And durable too.

When I had my hair done on Saturday, I asked my hairdresser what the person who washed my hair used to brush it through, as they had made it seem to easy to brush with out any uncomfortable pulling. When I comb my hair through after washing, it's always quite tangled and having quite fine hair, I have to be quite careful. I was told that they used a Tangle Teezer, which I had never heard of. On my journey back home, I signed in to my Amazon Prime Account, found the Tangle Teezer and purchased it there and then. It arrived yesterday, 24 hours after placing my order! I used it today after having washed my hair after swimming and I have to say it was absolutely brilliant. It was gentle on my hair and I couldn't believe how easily it went through my hair without any pulling or discomfort. What a shame it has taken me so long to discover this great product, but then I guess better late than never! I highly recommend it.
