These filters are all you need. Just change them every month! If you have pets or are doing construction in the house change more frequently. 1” pleated filters are bad for your HVAC system!!! They strain the fan motor

I'm so happy that I decided to order these. Better value for my money than the bog box hardeare stores when buying in bulk and I was able to share the cost with s neighbor that has the same need, furthering my value! Merve 4 is sufficient for my needs according to my regular A/C tech, so I'll be buying again in 6 months!

Rather than getting a filter or two at a time when you are shopping. Nice to get a box of 12, that way you have a years worth of filters.FYI heard more than once from HVAC Techs. You should use the cheap filters as the fancy ones put too much strain on your blower and you could burn it up down the road.

Only kind I can use for my furnace

We use this as a lay on filter for our AC coils. It works well at keeping the coils clean.

It’s an air filter. It works, not the best; but a long way away from the worst.
