For Anyone Who Has Ever Had Their Own Knuffle Bunny
I had just become familiar with Mo Willems' Pigeon books when my son's preschool teacher recommended the Knuffle Bunny books to me. I read them all, and this one actually brought me to tears at the end. Not only because of the sweetness of the story, but because of the note to his daughter at the conclusion of the book. I had my own Knuffle Bunny in my Brown Bear, that I've had since I was a baby. When my son was born, I passed Brown Bear down to him, and at 7, he continues to sleep with him every night. I think reading about a child's love for her stuffed animal, and her decision at the end, was so touching, and so relatable to anyone who has really loved a toy or a stuffed animal. I am so glad I learned about these books, and imagine they are ones that will be passed down among the generations - hopefully with Brown bear.

Wonderful story for kids and parents
Oh Mo Willems! This trilogy could have not ended in a more beautiful, real and emotional way. Such a great read for kids but even more amazing for us parents, picking up on all the facial expressions, the details you hide in the background and the subtle humor wrapped in kids words. Great story about when one day your baby is all of a sudden not a baby anymore and you don’t know where time went. The epilogue is so powerful and resonates so well with you as a parent it’s hard to fight tears. Well done and thank you.

The Best Trilogy For Children and Parents
What does it mean when you are the adult reading the book to your child and eventually end up dreaming about Mo Willems showing up at your child's school so you (yes, you the parent/adult) scream out, "Knuffle Bunny!" with such excitement like he's a rockstar, and then you get scolded by Mo himself because even though he wrote and illustrated the books, "I am not knuffle bunny!" Like seriously, get a hold of yourself, woman!Oh, Trixie and family- how I love this trilogy of your life with Knuffle Bunny. Yes, I know these are meant for children, but really- this is also made for parents who can appreciate the humor in the details of a child's life with a favorite stuffed animal. Isn't there something in your child's life that has "traveled" with them through the baby years, toddlerhood, and then on to the big kid school days? Did you ever wonder when that attachment or focus would move on, thinking, "Aren't they getting too big for this?" And then one day, inexplicably, they do in such a way that you wonder where the hell you stuck your head in while your child went and got all mature about it?This happens to Trixie and Knuffle Bunny in the last of the trilogy. Knuffle Bunny is set free, and he couldn't have ended up in a better way. But what is really weird about the epilogue in this book is that somehow Mo Willems ends up hiding secretly cut onions into the pages, because suddenly there are tears coming from your eyes, and you can't imagine why you are weeping over a children's book.Well done, Mr. Willems. You made a grown woman cry.

Great book about with Oma and Opa
This book is wonderful as it has an Oma in it. I am 100% Dutch and my grandchildren call me Oma. And Knuffle means 'hug/snuggle' in Dutch! The book has a few Dutch words in it, but i added some more so my grandchildren can learn some Dutch. I bought a book for each of them and made my additions (the cut and paste method). They love it and ask for Oma to read the Knuffel book to them!

My toddler adores this series, the epilogue requires parental explanation
My almost 3-year old absolutely loves this series. We quote it often. At the end of this one, she doesn’t yet understand the epilogue, when we see Trixie having a family and child of her own. It’s a great ending.

Lovely, sweet end to series
The children absolutely loved the first two knuffle bunny books. Our high expectations were exceeded by what I assume is the last one. A lovely story, funny and poignant. Warning to the sentimental - made mummy cry first time round. The American-isms have slightly confused the kids on occasion. One you can ready over and over without that sinking feeling. Probably makes better reading if you've read the previous books but still makes sense if not.

Well written
Bot this specifically for my 6 year old granddaughter who is very attached to a bear. I have found this Mo Williams book to be better suited to this age, well written with lots of writing, pictures are great and some look as if someone took a photo of a room and placed the characters in it. My grandson (4) loved these photos. The story is very well presented, interesting, and a great ending and a story about growing up.
