Novice to Intermediate Coffee "Expert," This is a GOOD BRAND!
It's fresh, has a great flavor, never bitter.I use this as my cold brew and it always come out great. It has yet to turn out bitter. I taste something pleasant, sometimes a bit of chocolate and raisin. It's very nice and pleasant tasting. For a DECAF....this is one of the best. I wish they, the company themselves, listed better description of the product and the flavor notes and the sources better. It deserves better promotion I think, but you should try as each person may have a different experience.

try it out! good value
actually tastes pretty decent, has the fresh aromas of organically grown beans. I would describe the taste as columbian with some coffee cherry notes which bring a little acidity. Not recommended as espresso.

A great cup of coffee.
I liked these beans so much I have purchased them 3 times now.Great robust flavor for a decaf, plus great value for a bag of whole beans.

Not much flavor
Price is good. I use it for my 50/50 coffee. I've had a couple of cups separately and didn't care for the weak flavor. It is not bitter which is a plus. I prefer a stronger bite

If made the right way, not a bad decaffeinated coffee...
I wanted to give my kidneys a bit of a rest, so I was looking for an organic decaffeinated coffee, so I tried this one. Well, the first time I tried it, it was SO damn acidy it was horrible! BUT... I did some research because I normally use an organic dark roast coffee which I grind very coarse for my French press, and I found out that if the coffee is coming out really acidy it is because of three things that I normally do for my other roast. The primary reason I read was that if the coffee is really acidy that means that it is very under-extracted. So, I had to change 3 things I normally did with my other dark roast. 1st, with my normal roast I would wait about 2 1/2 minutes after boiling the water before pouring it on the coffee. What I read stated that doing it sooner, after say 30 seconds, enhances and starts the extraction process sooner. So, I tried that first. The taste was I would say roughly about 1/2 as acidy, so that was encouraging. Next, I read that if you leave it in the French press longer, that will also enhance the extraction process. So, I tried that the 2nd day, leaving it in the French press about 7 minutes instead of 5. That greatly improved the taste about another 20%. Thirdly, I read that if the grind is too coarse then that also can inhibit the extraction process. So, today I set my Baratza Encore Conical Burr Coffee Grinder at several settings finer.Ahhhhh... today, it was like a completely different coffee! By changing these three things from what I would normally do with my dark roast, it almost completely removed that horrible, horrible acid taste. Now, I can actually taste the true flavour of the coffee and I can say that it honestly is pretty good, certainly a very good decaffeinated substitute for what I would regularly have. So, I really learned something with this. You REALLY have to be SURE that for the specific coffee that you are using, that you MUST use the correct procedure to bring out its best flavour and to mitigate whatever negative factors that it may have. So, for a decaffeinated coffee and for this price, I would recommend this one.

Uses Swiss Water Process to decaf the coffee
Trying to get an answer from the hardly English speaking reps overseas if this coffee, Cafe Tranquilo made by White Mountain Coffee uses the Swiss Water Process is like pulling teeth, no answer. So, I called the company. And yes, all of their decaf coffees use the Swiss Water Process instead of the chemical Methylene Chloride which has been shown to cause kidney cancer.
