Q: there is no vent tube is this a problem???

With a 3 tube dispenser, the valve or handle only controls cold water to the tank and the hot water tube connects to the spout, is always open and also acts as a vent. When you turn the valve on, it forces cold water into the tank which causes the hot water in the tank to come out the spout.

Q: Is this a tank only? Will it work with a 3 tube dispenser?

This is the tank only and does not include the silicon tube from the tank to the faucet. I used this with a Tomlinson Contemporary Hot and Cold Water Faucet with 3 tubes. The first tube comes from the water supply into the faucet. The second one goes from the faucet into the tank and the third is the hot water supply from the tank.

Q: Is the interior stainless steel? not just the exterior. i have a culligan ro system and must use a stainless steel reservoir.

Not 100% sure but I think it is. I have been using it on a RO system for 2 years with no issues.

Q: Can it hang on the cabinet wall or does it have to sit on the bottom?

It has feet on the bottom and also two keyhole slots on the back so you can hang it on the wall of your under-sink cabinet.
