Biscuit's Christmas Storybook Collection

My kids received a couple of Biscuit books for Halloween/Fall, and my daughter (3.5) especially loves them. She has some issues with sitting still and playing attention, but if someone starts to read a Biscuit book, they have her right away. I was thrilled to find this book, which is a set of several of the Biscuit books. These books are really wonderful. The illustrations are interesting and have a lot of detail so we can ask a lot of questions. (How many leaves do you see, where is the spider, how many presents are under the tree, what is Biscuit doing, what color shoes does the little girl have on) in addition to the recurring characters that we see story after story. Daisy, Puddles, Little Bunny etc.This is a larger hardcover book with paper pages. If your little ones may not be ready for this, there are several board books that also feature this case of characters. We love Biscuit and know you will as well!

Biscuit is a great little book for beginning readers and toddlers. My granddaughter has loved Biscuit since she was 2 when I found them and started reading them to her. When she started reading herself in 1st grade she read them all the time. I MEAN REALLY...WHAT CHILD DOESN'T LOVE A PUPPY? I just recommended to a Chinese friend for his 3 year old because they speak Chinese at home and he wants her to now more English before Kindergarten and 1st grade. Toddlers especially love saying the WOOF WOOF! ARF ARF!. because it makes them feel like they are reading with you. The simple sentences and the fact that they repeat many words a lot make it easy for them to recognize words. Love Biscuit Books.

How can anyone not like Biscuit? Must haves for emergent readers...boys and girls alike love them. Nine simple stories in one amazing book --- win! This (and another Biscuit compilation) were our go-to choice for our son when choosing what to read each day. He had a hard time when he was learning to read and would get so frustrated. Often, he would not want to read at all. So we starting building our 'reading muscles' by reading at least one story a day. He would always choose to read a story from these books. They always made him so happy and confident...and he would often want to read more than just one story! Great motivator and confidence booster! Highly recommend!

My husband and I bought this book for our little girl's 3rd birthday. She has discovered Christmas and loves it! So, it seemed like perfect timing to buy her this collection of Biscuit Christmas stories. It's now in our regular nap-time and bed-time rotation of books we read.We LOVE how gentle and sweet the stories are. It does have a few references to Santa Clause, but that is easily remedied with some creative re-scripting.

My two year old granddaughter will sit and listen to this whole book. (She does Biscuit's woofs!) I LOVE the fact that it has stories not available in individual book form. I have many of those. I also like that the stories go from beginning reader level to a little more advanced. I am reading these books to her at this point, but as a retired Kindergarten teacher, I know she will be reading them herself one day and will enjoy the fact that they are familiar stories, which will help her read them by herself. This is the second such collection I have purchased. I have been pleased with both.

My 2 year old twins love Biscuit so for Christmas we got them this collection of stories. The collection has nine stories that are the perfect length to read a couple before bedtime. The stories help us get in the Christmas spirit! The book itself is hardcover and the pages are like regular pages in a book, not board book pages but I knew that when I purchased it. I just try to be more careful when my kids handle the book. This collection is great for any Biscuit fan and would make a great Christmas present! We highly recommend it!

I bought this book for my son last Christmas and it was one of his favorite gifts. He learned how to read using the Biscuit books at our local library previoisly and we thought we had read every story but there are some new additions in this one.He loves reading these stories over and over to friends and family and it truly has built his reading confidence from all of the practice. It's his absolute favorite book of his and we have a decent collection of books!

My son loves all the biscuit books and this was no exception.

We started reading the kindle version of these stories with our son and when we adopted our puppy, he decided she had to be named Biscuit. We got her just before Christmas, so these stories were a perfect keepsake which our son is really enjoying.

Lovely stories that my five year old engages with really well. The repetitive nature of the book is really spring him with learning to read.

I just received this book today and haven’t had a hands to look through it , but it looks like very nice quality.

This is a great book to have in my library because many children love to read about Biscuit. This one is full of Christmas stories all about Biscuit which is nice.
