A reliable one.

The manual for the rm650x says included cables are1 x ATX CABLE 24 PIN (20+4)1 x EPS/ATX12V 8 PIN (4+4)But when I open the box and check the contents, the supposed (4+4) pin connector is actually a fixed 8 PIN connector and not compatible with my motherboard.frustrating to have all the components to build a needed system but needing to troubleshoot cable management between listed contents and actual box contents.Is the product description wrong? Did I get a previously returned item? Do I have to buy another cable? What a hassle.

I'm happy with this purchase, it was overdue, and going for this PSU appears to have been the right choice.My only complaint is that the thicker cables are a bit too stiff.This might not be a problem in larger cases, or in cases with more thoughtful routing for cable management, but in mine I definitely noticed I had to struggle to get these into place on the motherboard when routing them from behind.

Corsair is great brand, i have RAM of same brand but this was unfortunate. It was DOA and i had really hard time figuring out if there was issue with my built. I was so scared if my mother board had issue or my processor is not good or i did not wired everything proper. but after some trial and error and with help of my old PC power supply i found out that this was cause and replaced with other brand unit!may be everyone have got proper unit but mine was exception!

the POWER SUPPLY works amazing.The PSU Looks GREAT!wish the cables were more premium and clean lookin, especially the mess of THe Motherboard power.i wish the GPU PCI cables were just split, like a 6 pin and an 8 pin.cause it just doesn't looks great having a premium* package but have 2 pins just dangleing in your case.
