What matters most
Loved this book. It was fun and endearing. I really liked Holt’s positive attitude about life. He is the perfect male character with Harmony giving him a run as an equal. I like the way they were able to look beyond themselves and see what really mattered…each other.

Oh Holt
Holt is a cheeky sucker. From the very beginning he was trying to get Harmony to date him. When he shows up at the beach, he’s going all out to grab her attention & try to have her wanting more. His antics were adorable. His playfulness was precious. Harmony didn’t stand a chance. She was working hard for her meager life & didn’t want any distractions. Well, Holt was the ultimate distraction, but he was one that had every intention of holding on and taking a ride. And he did just that

Holt has my heart!
I’ve really been enjoying the Brentwood boys and after reading Holt’s story, he just melted my heart. I love that he (somewhat) has his head on straight. He’s a great guy. He doesn’t flaunt his money or make himself look better than everyone else, contrary to what others may think. He knows what he wants and he works hard for it, even if its to chase after a girl.At a diner one night after having some drinks with the guys, they are greeted by a sassy waitress who hates anything to do with sports and the guys who play them, especially the baseball team. She thinks they feel they’re entitled because they have an expensive stadium, full ride scholarships, awesome dorm rooms and free athletic gear. What she doesn’t realize, is that not all the baseball team members act that way or feel that way. Holt liked her sassiness but felt that he had no chance with her. I really liked how they met. It was fun to read about but then Holt decided to lay on the charm the next day and I was hooked. I loved how they got to know one another. Loved the banter. She was just as funny as he was only she was a little more sarcastic. This book was hard to put down and I wanted to read it every chance I got. I loved where the story went and totally wasn’t expecting it. This one had me laughing (Helloooo…it’s a Meghan Quinn novel.) and totally swooning over Holt. He has a side you wouldn’t expect in a macho athlete. I’m sad this book is over but I’m happy to see there is an extended epilogue and will be jumping on that as soon as I’m finished with this review. LOL! This book actually makes me want to start the series all over again. The Brentwood boys are awesome!

Holy Hotness Holt Green is here!!!!
“Intentions can be genuine, but the soul can also be greedy.”Harmony Stiles is a journalism student working to help pay her way through college. Although she comes from a small town she has big dreams for her life. She has no interest in guys, athletes especially. But with one chance encounter, when members of the Brentwood Baseball team sits at a table in her section, she’s instantly drawn to Holt Green. But what do you do when someone interjects himself in your life? Is he a stalker or possibly the love of your life? She can’t deny the pull she feels for him.“You know stalking is such a powerful word. I wouldn’t necessarily put it that way. Well, it was more like expert-level sleuthing.”Holt Green, star left-fielder for the Brentwood Baseball team has a privileged life. He comes from money, but never lets that define him. After surviving a near death experience, he’s learned to live each day to the fullest. When he sits in Harmony’s section at the diner, he’s instantly attracted to her, even though he’s drunk. When she throws attitude his way, he immediately wants to get to know her. Harmony tries to thwart his plans at every turn, but Holt is relentless, because he knows she has “locker room” potential. Can he get her to give him a chance?“If you’re afraid of my mouth being all over your bread, then you’re not going to want to know where my mouth has been in my thoughts.”This is a 5 star homerun story!!!! Meghan Quinn totally knocked this book out of the park. The banter, the characters, the story – it has everything you could want in a sweet romantic book. Holt Green will obliterate your heart, with his confidence, fun loving attitude, and witty banter. Harmony Styles will win your heart. Small town girl, earning her way that has an attitude like no other. The way Holt breaks down Harmony’s defenses will have you swooning. The instant connection these characters feel towards each other will draw you in. If you read any of the previous books, your other favorite baseball hotties make an appearance. Total win!!! This is a must read! If you’ve never read a Meghan Quinn book, prepare to laugh your butt off, prepare to lose yourself in the characters and all the feels that comes with an amazing Rom-Com!!!“Sometimes the right person comes out of nowhere. When you’re not looking for love is sometimes when you actually find it.”

Not a strike out, but not a HR
Several editing errors made for some irregular storytelling. Had those been fixed it would’ve been a solid 4.5-5 ⭐️ The heroine was a little ridiculous for my tastes, but the best friend was excellent.

Another Brentwood smash hit!
Ok so I will say that I bought this whole Brentwood series by accident when I one clicked them all when seeing how many books were in this series but I can say it's the best accident I've had hahahaI've loved each and every single of these books and their characters.I've been held hostage from start to finish from each of these stories and devoured them all within a few weeks unable to put them down!Holt Green is everything you'd want in a partner.. hes kind.. caring.. loving.. compassionate with a little side of perfection thrown in... when he sets his sights on something he knows he wants he doesn't stop until he gets it so when he meets Harmony one night working in the local diner all bets are off!Harmony is guarding her heart after recent bad experiences but loves the way that Holt manages to break down her defences piece by piece. These guys together are explosive! The chemistry is unreal and the fireworks are going off all over the place but they lack the one thing all relationships need... communication, which leads to drama and heartache.Absolutely gutted these stories are over... id read about all these guys all day long!

Good sports story and well balanced.
Harmony is working all hours in the diner to pay for her college fees when she serves four college baseball players. They are all handsome and well off. The conversation gets a bit snarky because Harmony hates that they can just float around whilst she is almost killing herself. Ford catches her eye but she wants nothing to do with him. He persists, begging for a date and she turns him down. The dialogue is good, it works and the mingling with baseball within the story is well balanced. I dont normally read young love stories but this one was good. I like how the author writes.

eh ****spoiler warning****
I love Meghan Quinn’s books, and this series is one of my faves but this just didn’t really do what I was expecting it to!For starters, I was looking forward to the whole symptoms before pregnancy reveal and then the panic, the sharing the news with Holt, but we got none of that. It just randomly jumped to “I found out I was pregnant 4 days ago” and that was really disappointing. Also a lot of this authors books have good strong characters, but these two just felt childish and the relationship seemed really rushed. I didn’t hate the book, but it did disappoint me a bit and it also seemed to end abruptly. No baby!! No going into labour or anything!! 😬

Wow
Just another great story from the Brentwood series, Holt and Harmony what can I say, but it would have been better if it had come after Knox or Carson’s story but I still really enjoyed it. Only one more left to read in the series and I am quite sad about that.
