Not for zoodles!!!
The veg are not supported properly, so it ends up that zucchini and similar veg come out from the blade and the 3 pins smashing your veg... Cause lots of mess and you waste a lot of the whole zucchini or carrots etc...If you are buying this machine for zoodles, better you use a mandolina or a small sharpener.

I didn't think I'd like eating zucchini every night but now I'm obsessed
Basically, I bought this because I needed to find something to do with all the zucchini I'd planted. I was a bit skeptical about making noodles with it, but I made pasta sauce with lemon, feta, tomatoes, nutritional yeast and swiss chard this evening and it was honestly better than actual spaghetti. The spiralizer itself was easy enough to set up, seems solid, works fine. It took me a second to figure out how to get the attachments to make noodles but eventually got it working. The noodles can get really really long but it's kind of satisfying. I haven't used any of the other attachments yet but I'm pretty sure the ricer will be fun to test out on cauliflower, it just hasn't ripened yet. Overall I'd recommend this product if you have too much zucchini and don't know what to do with it all, or if you can't eat pasta and need an alternative.

Eat your veggies...in different shapes
I bought this based on a certain cooking TV show review, and normally they seem to recommend the most expensive items tested but this time they didn't. This thing rocks. It has super strong suction cup feet which are needed since while you are cranking the handle to turn the vegetable you want this thing to stay in one place. It has more than enough cutting plates that all trim the vegetables into different shapes, it is easy to clean and it comes with a stiff bristled brush for you to remove any scraps of vegetable that might stick to the blades. You never have to get your fingers near the sharp blades and it is easy and safe to remove the blade plates. I first tried a hand held spiralizer that sucked and for a long time just considered this spiralizing thing a fad that would go away. But the more I move to a veggie centric diet the more I wanted to be able to change up how I prepared vegetables. The base unit holds 2 plates and they give you a covered container that holds the others, I keep the 2 I use the most in the base. Yes it is another item I have to find room for in a cabinet but I use it more than other appliances. It doesn't require electricity and it is easy to clean, I don't put it in the dishwasher. I can cut carrots for slaw, salads or soups. I don't like hard chunks of carrots but you can do thin ribbons of carrots that are easier on your teeth. I have done sweet potatoes for the air fryer. I think it would work well for medium sized beets, apples, zucchini and other hard vegetables. The price is fair enough to justify trying it if you want to increase the chance of you eating more vegetables.
