I bought this product for a friends birthday.I like the overall light it gives off as a little desk lamp or 'mood light' - changing colour options is of course useful for a desk or room colour.I like the star wars theme, other themes are i'm sure available.....I don't however think it's in any way '3D' -- some of the listings for these products attempt to show it as some sort of 3D projector light.....it definitely isn't.It's a novely item, a stocking filler and if you like the franchise it's from then that's fine - but it's not as I was (perhaps foolishly) expecting some projected 3D light.This is being misrepresented in photoshopped images on multiple listings.Overall, it's a 'cute' little light product - just don't think it's going to project a big millenium falcon floating on your desk anytime soon! :D

The pictures look far better than in reality. The 3D effect that it is supposed to create is not actually that good, the image is perceived as 2D rather than 3D as marketed. What is more concerning about it and a health and safety issue is that I put three AA batteries and not only did not work with batteries but a burning smell started to appear and I touched the batteries and they were hyperhot. To be prudent I removed the batteries. I actually wanted to use it with batteries so it can be placed anywhere without power cable limitations but the burning smell, the heat of the batteries and that it actually did not work is of most concern for me.

Excellent product would highly recommend this to anyone my son loves it as he is autistic he loves the colour changing feature
