How do you keep water out of your nose

My wife wears a nose clip. I don't and haven't had a problem with water up my nose. About half the time I exhale through my nose, which certainly helps.

I do not understand how to rotate the snorkel out veiw, when not in use ?

The snorkel snaps into place in the upright position perpendicular to the headband. When you want to rotate it you have to twist the snorkel (I hold the headband to steady it) until it snaps out of the upright position and you can rotate it out of the way. I remember a photo in the promotional material that shows the snorkel resting parallel to the headband. It doesn't do that. Once it snaps out of the swimming position it kind of flops around. But, it's still a nice feature.

How does the dry top system work?

If water gets in the top it empties about one inch below the top

What does “bettery” mean?

Did you mean butterfly? It's a swim stroke.
