I bought this to massage tired muscles, and it worked great, but my favourite application now is for cellulite. I see results! I bought my first stick at a store, and now bought a bunch from amazon as gifts for my lady friends.I roll my problem zones once every day for maybe three-four minutes when I change into my home clothes after work. After a couple of weeks I noticed some improvements, got really excited and overdid it a little bit! Gave myself small bruises! Lesson learned- a little goes a long way, it just takes time and patience.And the quality of the product is great. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic product. I have a larger (single) massage ball from Gaiam that I rolled against my back using a wall for resistance, and that fully took away some really bad knots over 3-4 weeks of working through it. Similarly, I used this stick to dig into really bad areas of my legs and hips and, while it's only been three weeks, the improvements are notable. I'm a distance runner who often neglects stretching, massage and icing, so over the years I've built up hornets' nest of painful areas in my legs and back. These two Gaiam products have been awesome in helping me recover. One caution, you have to have a high tolerance for pain to get the best results. You have to really let the spikes dig into painful areas for it to work. Once you've done it, don't go over the area again until you're comfortable.

Got this to help with deep tissue message and breakdown of chronic scar tissue in my calves. The small points do exactly what I want. This can be used on many spots of the body to great effect. Sturdy build. Wheels move freely with no jamming. Wide enough to use on the back as well. Highly reccomended. I did not recieve this as a gift for a review. I bought it.

Everything checks out, but the balls with little “spikes” on them are a hard plastic and actually hurt. Doesn’t feel good st all. I can’t use it. But my toddler uses it as his sword so he gained a new toy.
