Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Royal Absolutes Silverwhite - Silver

Great product! Order arrived earlier than expected.It had been 8-10 weeks since I last had my hair highlighted and with Covid-19 still going strong, getting to a salon isn't an option so I'm glad I was able to get this online. I'm not a professional, I just have a degree from YouTube University on how to dye my hair like an amateur. ;-pMy natural color is about a level 6 or 7 ash blonde with a few grays showing up. I used the Schwarzkopf Igora Royal creme color in the shade 12-1, "Special blonde Cendre" which is supposed to have some gray/blue tones. Since this is a high-lift color and I only needed 3-4 levels of lift, I used a mixture of 1:1:1 color creme & Vol 40 developer & Vol 20 developer (because I didn't have any vol 30 developer). I used this mixture on the regrowth area. The back of my head and nape of neck area is darker, so I used a 1:2 ratio of color and straight vol 40 developer on that area. On the midshafts and ends where I was already pretty light, I used 1:2 of color and volume 20. The one tube of color was barely enough to do all my hair, so if your hair is longer or thicker, get 2 tubes. I processed for about 30-45 minutes, but truthfully, since it took me awhile to do it on myself it was a total of about 55 minutes to get everything applied before I rinsed out.I'm mostly happy with how it turned out. I was hoping for a little more ashy tone, it turned out more golden, but it doesn't look bad and I liked how everything has a nice blended look. I may leave it like this for a few weeks before toning with purple shampoo or Wella T-18.I conditioned immediately after washing out with some leftover Revlon deep conditioner that came from a previous box color. My hair feels super soft, not dry and damaged as is typical if I had used bleach rather than high-lift color.I might try shade 10-1 next time or 12-19.

You must use the Oil Developer by the same brand. It's sort of difficult to find pictures of the hair colors, but keep looking. Also, I think it's darker than the tiny sample pictures show, so I mix 3 different colors to get the shade of red I want. It's kind of a bother, but this stuff actually covers all the grey and fades less than the brands you get at drug stores. There's a video of a hairdresser trying this on his mother that I found helpful, you can search it. The color is just a tiny bit odd for the first couple of washes until it fades a little. It's the copper color, it looks a little like doll hair, but that goes away. I do wish this company would expand its color choices and put some better pictures out there. I highly suggest doing a sample before you apply this to all your hair. One last thing, you'll need a bowl to mix and a brush to apply it, it's thick and doesn't mix thoroughly if you try to use an applicator bottle. I have used extra developer to thin it, it seemed to work fine, but that's your call.

Used the BlondMe new bleach and developer 20 vol. Had to do the bleaching process twice, but my hair was at a level 4 to 5. NOT EVEN ONE NANO SECOND OF DISCOMFORT WITH TWO 45 MINUTE BLEACHING SESSIONS. These products are magic. Most of my hair was white, like Platinum_Perfection white. There were a couple of sections where my hair had been the darkest that were at about a level 8 pale yellow blond. I was sure the tints would cover it. I wanted a very Silver Grey and wanted a blend of colors. I used the Igora Royal Silver White as the base, then added a small amount of the Igora Royal Dove Grey and a little less amount of BlondMe Steel Blue, some of the new BlondMe Mask and the 20 Volume Developer. The color took extremely fast, about 20 minutes. Used the BlondMe Cool Blonde Shampoo; BlondMe All Blond Conditioner and added some Mask in with the conditioner. I used cool water for every process. I was afraid to look when I got out of the shower after the final conditioning step! Towel dried my hair, then looked! I am 69 years old and I was giggling and LOL, totally amazed! MY HAIR IS THE PERFECT SILVER GREY WITH BLENDED SHADES AND IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE. SCHWARZKOPF AND Perfect_Platinum tutorials are responsible. The entire process was completely painless! I HAVE NEVER LOVED MY HAIR AS MUCH AS I DO TODAY! I'LL NEVER USE ANOTHER PRODUCT LINE NO MATTER THE COLOR! No photo because of some hideous dermatitis on right side of face related to Neutron Radiation for Cancer a year ago, which still has nerve issues. I like the product, however the color was not as described. I order silver white and the resulting color on my white hair was a very light grey.
