Gotta have this trimmer
Great price. I use mine all the time. It is so simple to get in those hard to reach candles that have burned all the way down. The design not only trims the wick but it lets you remove the piece as well. It doesn't just drop the burned wick into the wax. When you trim the wick, it closes, holding the old piece inside. I have seen similar products at Yankee Candle for double the price. This trimmer also has pretty scrolled design on it. I love mine and highly recommend it.

Attractive and Works great!
Works great! No trouble snipping even candles with thick braided wicks. Long enough for my glass pillar candles. Also very attractive.

effective and affordable
First wick cutters ever bought, so not much to compare them with. I liked the etching detail, but they were a little bulkier than I hoped . Also, sometimes metals that aren't shiny can be rather rough feeling, which i do feel these are.Generally, though, the price was great, they cut wicks effectively and I would recommend them as a useful item and think they would be a nice, inexpensive addition to gift that might include candles.

Works well
This trimmer seems to be quite durable. I bought two of them about a month ago and use mine about 3-4 times weekly. It always trims easily and well whether it's a new candle or one that is very low in a jar.It sometimes catches the trimmings in the little "cutting tray" formed down at the blade area if I cut very carefully. If I cut too hard or quickly, the trimmings can bounce away. This is not a deal breaker by any means, though, since the wick-trimming is the primary function. It will works well. I highly recommend it!
