Luna Bean Hand Casting Kit - Couples, Wedding, Hand Mold

It was great; easy to follow instructions and done in one evening. The resulting cast is extremely detailed and pretty amazing. We will be doing additional ones with other family members.

I was given this this as a mother's day gift. How adorable! We did the first attempt with warmer water than it suggested, it hardened before we could put our hands in it. Major fail! Very upset so I reached out to Amazon and was able to get another for free. Thank you Amazon!!! Second attempt we followed the directions to a tee. Used correct water temp and it went exactly as planned. We put oil on our hands even though it didn't say that but it was suggested by others. Left our hands in for 6 minutes. Removed our hands one at a time slowly. That was hard to do, my husband had to basically wiggle our arms up for us lol. We let the mold sit for 4 hours exactly. Then we had a really hard time getting it out of the bucket. We decided to go with a base using all of the liquid and it was not coming out. We had to run a knife around the edges for a while until it came lose. We flipped it upside down and it came out. We have a picture of it out looking smooth and shiny like an upside down bucket. We removed the outer mold gently to reveal the long awaited results. It turned out perfectly except tons (I mean tons!!!!) of little dots all over our hands. You can see in picture. We did everything it said to avoid air bubbles...but these are like hard bubbles....why!?!? My husband tediously scraped them away and it looks great now. There are a few small air bubbles but minimal. We made sure to tap and do all the tricks to not have bubbles but I guess they are unavoidable sometimes. Overall, it's a cool idea and turned out great. I will cherish this for many years and I love that I could have my daughters 8 year old hand forever in mine. Great size, great color, excellent value for money. Highly recommend and follow the directions perfectly!!! !!!!!UPDATE: I had it sit for 6 days as it says to let it set and then u are supposed to seal it.....well I went to look at it after 6 days and it was molded!!!! Omg how gross!! Also, why don't they provide a sealant!?!? I decided to spray paint it to seal it and hide the mold. It was literally white with black mold spots all over it!! What is the heck!? I am taking a star away....

Very easy to use. And finish product came out perfect. A keepsake to enjoy for years

Worked well. Very nice but not perfect result. Spent some time touching it up. Watch the instructional video a couple times and follow the instructions. Particularly: 1) Mix the plastic powder (the first powder) into slightly cool water gradually (but not too slowly). If you dump it all in it takes too long to get the lumps out. And you risk getting air bubbles if you mix it too aggressively. 2) Don't forget to set aside a couple tablespoons of the plaster powder for repairs after it's done.

The kit was very easy to use, instructions were easy to find and easy to follow. I appreciated it came with a QR code and video step by step. It was not messy at all. Perfect size to fit our hands in with comfort. After waiting the correct amount of time it came out perfect with the detail being incredible and the hands being sturdy and will last forever.

Amazing quality,easy to use and lots of fun making memories

The powder delivered for phase 1 to make the mould did not match the quantity defined in the details. I received 2 bags of 435g each rather than a total of 1500g. Moreover, when I mixed it with distilled water at 24deg the mix dried out in about 1min and never changed colour as indicated. Not worth the money.

Not enough mixture for the depth of the bucket, it then dried within 15 seconds and we didn’t manage to get a single cast. Ended up paying £50+ to bin the entire bucket..
