Great gel pen for opaque and consistent white detailing and lettering!
This review is made in comparison to the Sakura White Gelly Roll, which is what I’ve been using exclusively up until now.PROS:• Even and consistent ink flow.• Very opaque.• Rubber grip and thicker barrel makes it much more comfortable and ergonomic.• Can go over lines and do multiple layers to make sections thicker.CONS:• Pen tip is much larger (1.0 mm) compared to what most people are used to on a Gelly Roll• Distributes a lot of ink (takes some getting used to).• Slightly longer drying time.I was skeptical of the Signo making that much of a difference compared to the Gelly Roll but it surprised me. With both pens, I always do a little “warm-up” scribble before I go into an art piece — but with the Signo, I can rely on the ink flow to stay consistent and even until I’m done with it. If not, I can easily go back to areas that need touching up without ruining the ink I already laid down. With the Gelly Roll it would skip frequently and when I went over another area again, it would always scratch the ink already in the process of drying — this often turned a small touch up into a larger problem. The Signo is also a lot more comfortable. Often times, my hand would cramp up with a Gelly Roll because of its skinny barrel. Especially since I would have to spend more time with it going over areas to make the lines more opaque or filling in areas the ink skipped. With a Signo, I usually only have to make one pass.Yes, the Signo produces a much bolder line than a Gelly Roll — because of that it does release a lot of ink and needs a little longer drying time. It’ll also take a bit to get used to and familiar with so you can control it and know what to expect when you detail/write.Overall the Signo is a great alternative to the Gelly Roll. It’s now my go-to pen, although I still plan to always keep at least one Gelly Roll pen nearby for times I need to do very small details.

My go to pens to make my artwork POP!!!
The Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pens are a necessity in my job as a freelance illustrator. Doing corrections on sequential comic art pages... Or adding a beautiful starry scene on a commissioned sketch card puzzle. This is the only pen I use to help enhance my work and pretty much get the job done. I've yet to come across any other whit gel pen that gives a steady flow and never clogs. I'll keep coming back for this essential art tool.

Worked perfectly in my Silhouette Cameo! No skipping, no smearing!
I recently purchased a Silhouette Cameo II, and was dying to try out the "sketch" option using a white gel pen, since I was looking at white laser printers but there's no way I could justify the cost of the laser printer for my home crafts. These pens are FANTASTIC!! They didn't skip at all through the whole "sketch" process, they dried quick enough to where the rollers didn't smear the ink (although I was using the 'limit back and forth movement as much as possible' option to give it as much time as possible to dry), the quality of the sketch/ink is great! The ink appeared to be wet for a few seconds, but even after it was dry it was slightly shiny, so I can't tell for sure how much time it took to dry.I also tested this pen on a metallic cardstock, which feels like a coated piece of paper. The ink dried just fine and didn't smear. The other reviews were right; this is the best white gel pen on the market! For the setup in my pictures, I used the "silhouette pen adapter" in my Cameo II machine. I downloaded a graphic of a piece of lace and traced it in Silhouette Studio and sketched it from there. Please click "yes" below if this review was helpful to you.

Excellent so far
These pens arrived quickly, tightly packaged together (I did have to use a craft knife to remove them from the shrink wrap). I've only used one of the pens so far, but it works very well. The ink is the brightest white I've ever seen come from a pen, even on black paper, it's almost as white as white heat embossing. As the "broad" word implies, it writes with a medium to bold line, so I prefer to use it for drawing lines, shapes, tracing, or anything that requires a bolder stroke. For handwriting, I prefer the Sakura Gelly Roll White, which is not as bright white, but has a finer tip. A suggestion: gel pens in general can be tricky, over the years I've had so many that just stop writing with plenty of ink left. What seems to be working for me is to wipe the tips before and after using them, and storing them HORIZONTALLY. I have a dedicated pencil case just for gel pens. It seems to be working. This pen looks like it's high quality so far. I'll update this review if anything changes.

awesome pen, hurry buy now!
Awesome pens, they paint more than draw. If your heavy handed like myself you'll need to lighten up a bit. But these are awesome, they work not only on black paper but after a layer or two highlight on top of ink. Works just perfect for what I need it for, and the price isn't so bad. I've added some doodles to show the brightness and sometimes dullness (mainly due to my heavy handed writing)
