Another Great Instalment!
This was even better than the first volume. I just really love the deep love of anime and animation these girls have. I also love the robot club and loved meeting more characters. This manga is so funny and heart warming that I could honestly just keep rereading it forever. I also really liked the snippets of us getting to know the girls a little more.I just love this manga a lot and can't wait for volume three!

Good Continuation
Volume 2 of Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! continues the story of Asakusa, Kanamori, and Mizusaki's high school animation club. Emboldened by the success of their first short anime, as depicted in volume 1, Eizouken is commissioned by their school's robot club to create a promotional anime featuring a mech. Now that they have some experience on how to make animation, they approach this new project by diving into more detail than before such as asking how the fictional mech will be designed and what kind of backgrounds their project should have. This volume contains chapters 8 through 15 of the story. It roughly corresponds with episodes 5 through 8 of the anime, though with increasing differences as the anime has some additions in this story arc not present in the manga. As someone who is a fan of the 2020 anime series and the first voume of this manga, I enjoyed volume 2. What made the first volume enjoyable is repeated here. Now that the members of Eizouken have more experience in their craft, they continue to work to improve. Also like the first volume, I feel that volume 2 is again a tribute to those working in animation and other creative fields. It is just as entertaining seeing Asakusa's imagination run wild as she tries to figure out how to design a mech or a giant monster for it to battle with. Or how Mizusaki continues to refine her skills in drawing and animating such as using an analogy of a rocket launch to demonstrate power and motion in film. All the while Kanamori continues to be their manager emphasizing the business side of things like how it is important to stay on schedule and deliver a good product. Watching this group dynamic between this trio of likable characters is where this manga really shines.Unfortunately, some of the issues for which I criticized the first voume are repeated here. There are a few typos in the translation, there are still some occasions with the word bubbles in which it is unclear which character is speaking, and some instances of off-model or wonky artwork. Again, these are more minor issues that do not detract too much from the story, but it is still slightly disappointing to not see improvement from volume 1.Overall, this was an enjoyable installment in the Eizouken series. If you liked the anime series or enjoyed voume 1, you will probably enjoy this.
