MUST be Modified BEFORE Using - Rubber ring holding dome up breaks
I purchased 5 of these since May 2022 for work and home (January 2023 being the most recent). So in less than a year, 3 of the rubber rings that hold the dome in place have broken. At some point yesterday late afternoon, the ring broken and the dome fell on a bluebird and trapped it on the one I have at the office, until I arrived this morning and was able to free it. Thankfully the temperatures/weather was comfortable and he seemed to be ok.Picture have been added to shoe modified using black electrical tape to keep some from falling and trapping birds inside the feeder.

Small but just what I was looking for
This is just the type of feeder I was looking for. Something small that would feed little birds and make it more difficult for starlings to clear out the seed in a flash. It is very small and holds a cup of seed. The dome is easily adjustable by positioning the small rubber rings up and down the post. I'm not sure what the large black thing is that's shown in the listing picture as mine did not come with that.I have it outside now on a windy, wintry day. The dome has kept the freezing rain off of the seed which is great. A few starlings are able to get in and eat but it's not the same as what I was dealing with with my previous open dish feeder. It is light and it does sway in the wind dropping a bit of seed. I make my own suet so I packed some of that in the bottom and pressed more seed into the top to keep it from dropping. I'm going to try to find a weight to add to it to stabilize it, which I believe was recommended by other reviewers. I'm giving it four stars only because that wasn't thought of by the manufacturer.

This is a great little feeder and goldfinches look very cute on it
Our goldfinches love this feeder, we feed them sunflower seed chips and they prefer it to their Nyjer seed. Originally I hoped that lowering the dome and the small size would keep out sparrows however it does not. The sparrows also enjoy this feeder. The finches look very cute on this feeder, they can hop around an upright position (as opposed to hanging onto a finch sock) and you can see them from all sides because the feeder is clear. The downside of this feeder, I have to fill at least twice or more a day. Also this feeder's dome gets covered in bird poop. No matter how often I clean it it tends to look a little funky. With the black Nyjer socks we use they stay pretty decent looking for a fair amount of time.We also have a Duncraft small size cling a wing. The little birdies had a hard time learning how to use this feeder but are finally starting to get the hang of it. You don't have to fill it is often. The house finches have mastered it, I think I have seen a sparrow on it once so far.Still have not found a feeder that will keep out sparrows. If anyone knows of one feel free to message me.

About Those O-Rings...
I love these feeders, and own four of them (so far). Some reviewers have complained about the lower o-rings failing, causing the dome to fall. Yep, this can happen. I found that the o-rings on a couple of mine were cracked and ready to fail after about a year of use, and after a spate of COLD WEATHER. (Frozen, brittle o-rings caused the space shuttle Challenger disaster, too. But I digress.)I wrapped some self-adhesive silicone tape -- enough layers to prevent the dome from sliding down -- around the post just below the lower o-rings. What you lose in being able to make frequent adjustments to the distance from the tray to the dome you gain in peace of mind about the safety of the birds. Worth it.

A bit small and holds water, but works
This tiny feeder can do the job, if the birds are not very big or numerous, and if it does not rain. It holds a ridiculously small quantity of dried worms if it is not filled to heaping, which spills easily with wind gusts and heavy bird activity (saying it holds a cup is a slight exaggeration). That does not have to be problematic if you are glad to refresh the worm supply often (lots of cleaning opportunities!). The bigger problem is that drainage is only via a few tiny holes in the plastic bowl. Rain + worms = pasty hole-plugging mess, which leads to flooding the bowl with water until one dumps it. I don’t care to waste worms and so would prefer a better draining feeder with larger capacity. This one suited in a pinch, though.

Cute little feeder however .......
I like this small feeder for feeding mealworms to a pair of bluebirds that frequent my yard. I will be too small if more than two show up but for now it's what I wanted for the yard. However the drain holes in the bottom are somewhat too large and several mealworms have crawled out of the feeder through these drain holes. I've now taped the holes closed and have to watch the weather and don't put any mealworms in it if it's going to rain.

Cute little feeder
I originally bought this in order to provide meal worms for my bluebirds. However, the bluebirds weren't at all interested in the dried mealworms and totally ignored it, so I now put black oil sunflower seed in it and hang it on my double-pronged pole feeder. The smaller birds, such as chickadees and titmice, seem to love it. I even had a rose-breasted grosbeak eating from it yesterday. I do have other larger feeders hanging nearby, but some birds do use this small one too. The top is a little tricky to raise and lower, and I can see how the very tiny rubber washer might not hold up well if the top is continually raised and lowered, but I don't change the position of the top and so far, it works very well. It is very light-weight and I thought maybe that might be a problem for the birds since it rocks easily, especially when it is windy, but that has not been the case. For the price, it's a nice little supplementary feeder.

Feeder for all birds
Bluebirds with mealworms worked well. If you lowered top would prevent large birds like doves grackels!

One Star
The chickadees didn't use it and the starlings swung on it and dumped out all the seeds
