My son loves this book. He asks to read this every night before bed. Both the story and illustration are unbelievably cute. One of the best bed time story!

After picking up and loving I Want My Mommy, we were excited to get this book. Instead of missing daddy because he's not home, it's just wanting his help for various reasons in which most were dull and boring. Not to mention huffity the dragon in the first book was his grandmothers and in this book it is mentioned as his. I can understand reasons why it could be his now but in the end the book turned out to be a let down for my family as we had expected a story about all the exciting adventures and reasons for missing and wanting daddy to come home. Gave it away.

Whenever my daughter is getting a little tired of seeing me and wants her dad to come home from work I will read her this book before bed. It's just a cute inexpensive book.
