Ideal for the small print
This has been purchased for reading the small print on jars, bottles and instructions rather than a tool for general reading. It works well, the light is an excellent aid, the magnification just right and it's not cumbersome to hold or to direct where it is needed. TheNot sure I would want or even need it for general reading but as I didn't buy it for that I am more than satisfied.

Just what I wanted.
Light is good as it makes removing a thorn after gardening so much easier. Also very handy for identifying almost identical jigsaw pieces. With this magnifier I can actually read the miniscule print on some packaging or instructions and of course threading a very fine needle is not a problem. All in all a very useful item.
