For the price, this is nice. The wood is good enough quality and it gets plenty of compliments. A nice touch to make your haircut and shave feel a bit classier. Careful with the screw, however. You may need to tighten it periodically. I had the entire straight blade fall apart.

Overall good razor. The bad thing is the blades don't fit at all. The blade hangs out the top of the razor so you can't close it. I'm afraid I will cut my hand trying to wedge it in where its suppose to go so I can use it. Sending it back and ordering a different one.

Its simple to use. The blades are sharp so be careful. I recommend going with the grain and use shaving oil before the shaving cream.

The quality of the product is indeed very low. I have been using straight razors for many years now and have always been satisfied with them in terms of quality and performance. But the razor that you have sent me feels like a very bad quality local razor, and seems like it is not meant for use but to keep as a décor item instead.I have used the razor twice, two consecutive days, and that’s all. And by just this much usage, 1. The wooden handle of the razor has started to deteriorate. Tiny pieces of wood have come out which sting the skin, and I am afraid they might penetrate my skin and cause serious problems. This is not very clearly visible in the pictures but the pictures still give an idea that the surface of the wooden handle is very rough.2. One end of the wooden handle has reacted with normal regular tap water and has developed a black coating on the affected area. What this low quality wood has released, I have no clue. Visible in the attached pictures.3. The razor does not naturally go into its holder in the handle. I have to push it a little and then it fits the handle. Visible in the pictures.4. There is no balance to the razor as the wooden handle is almost weightless. There is no bump between the shank and the heel of the razor for any kind of grip. (Some people do not require this but many find it highly convenient.)While purchasing this item, I was appealed by its looks. It looked shinny in the pictures displayed on the Amazon site. Shinny also meant that it would be well coated with polish which would protect wood from reacting with water. By the price tag of it, I thought that it would be a luxury/premium item, which is why I purchased it. But it turns out that this item is not meant for even regular use.I use other premium shaving items as well, and one amongst them is a 'Truefitt & Hill' shaving soap. It comes in a wooden box. This box's base is most of the times in contact with water. But even after 2 years of use the box till date feels very smooth and the entire wooden box is as good as new.Now I do not expect that kind of quality from you. But I request you to not make a fool out of me and sell me something worth Rs.50/- at a price of Rs. 1,688/- (That's the price I purchased the product about a month back). Kindly return this item and refund my money.I feel highly disappointed on receiving such a bad quality item at such a premium price.
