Good as the original
Our car starts to have an odor when we use the AC after about a year of using the filter. So I purchased this one given the price- and the odor was immediately gone after starting the car. This is my second purchase of this brand, and it works just as good as the filters that cost me 4x the dollar amount.Changing the filter is a pin. The first time I used a YouTube video as I found removing the glove box difficult- you have to pull and jiggle it to get it out. My husband thought a screw was left in- but no. If you follow the diagram they include with this filter, you just need to pull it a bit hard to get it out. Screwing back in is easy.

Car smells better
About the same quality as other cabin air filters I have used. Including some name brands.

Fresher Air
I live and drive in a location where there is not a problem with extreme dusty conditions. This filter looks identical in appearance to the KIA brand cabin filter I replaced including the weight (thickness) of the filter fabric and number of filter fabric folds. The overall filter itself was identical in size to the original KIA brand cabin filter and fit perfectly in the fan housing. I suggest viewing a video or two on YouTube showing how to do the installation especially if you have a 2011 KIA Soul since the glove box has hidden plastic clips along the upper edge which will hold the glove box in place after all screws are removed. .

It fits good in the first generation Kia Soul air duct
It fits good in the first generation Kia Soul air duct. It's not their fault the Kia engineers decided that is OK to take the whole passenger shrowd off to replace the filter; Hyundai has a small "door" in that place, that can be open with no tools.I am not sure if the "activated" carbon does it's work (or I had higher expectations), but at least it doesn't hurt.
