HogueRuger MK II/MK III Rubber Grip with Finger Grooves, Right Hand with Thumb Rest, Black - 82060

The old Mark 4 that I have still had the composite panels which were never particularly comfortable to hold. Picked this set based on other experiences with Hogue. I have fairly large hands and these fit and feel well. I am not sure how optimal these would be with small hands. They lend a nice stable feel to the hold as well as feeling secure. Worthwhile update.

The fit of these grips is outstanding. Yes, they take a little effort to install because they are rubber and needing to stretch them a little bit to put them on ensures a nice snug fit once installed. The rubber surface gives good grip in the hand and is very durable and resistant to gun oils etc. The quality of the product for the price paid is excellent. I continue to be a Hogue grip fan!

Replaced stock grips on a Mk II. Huge improvement in grip. Feels more natural in my hand. I wasn't too keen on the pebble pattern instead of the checkering, but I actually like it more. I have the fancy Ruger wood thumb rest grips on my scoped SS slabside government model and this one was supposed to be my beater .22, but I'm thinking about scoping it too. The cottonmouth's in my lake are not going to be happy.

I’ve used the factory flat grips from Ruger for over a decade but decided I needed something more. These fit my hands wonderfully and allows for a better purchase on the Ruger MKII.I definitely recommend.

Hogue grips always make a gun feel better in your hand....

It has a good feel. Big improvement over the original.

I purchased these from Javarun through Amazon.com. They were exactly as described. They are simple to install, but read the directions first. The description states MK II/ MKIII. This will absolutely fit the MK I like a glove. I will give you some details. I have the Mark I Standard. Under the original grip on the left side, shows that I have an A-100. There is no modification needed whatsoever for this model. It comes with an extra shim and is needed only if you own an A-108 without a bolt stop lever.The directions are simple, but do what it says and get Loctite Blue (medium) and put a drop on each screw. For ease, I magnetized my screwdriver tip, put the screw on, added a drop of Loctite Blue and slowly eased it into the hole and tightened. Worked like a charm. The grips feel great on the hand. I love the thumb rest and I don't have the feeling of the previous grips checkering my hand. All in all this is a great buy.

Good product. Stock Ruger screws are too short.
