YGS-Tech3 Inch LED Recessed Lighting, Dimmable Downlight 5W(40W Halogen Equivalent), 3000K Warm White LED Ceiling Light, CRI80, Silver Trim with LED Driver(4 Pack)

I added these to my bar room. I added 4 lights. After few months 1 light starts flickering, then off…..on….off etc. Checked wiring, swopped drivers over and problem went over with driver. Sent seller email to ask for replacement driver and no reply. Who do I contact further to get a driver replacement. It has 1 year warranty

I am impressed with these lights. They were created with an eye on easy installation. Each light has 2 spring-loaded wings. After the hole in the sheetrock is cut (really carefully!), connect the electric wires, push the wings through first, press firmly until snug against the the sheetrock. DONE. The elements are L.E.D., so they are very inexpensive to operate. They bright, but small. There are lots of creative ways to use them.

These 2” fixtures are a snap to install and come with a dimmable driver included in the box. They’re likely hard to best for the price. They’re not terrible looking either.That said, sub 90CRI is a tough pill to swallow. The color rendering is off and you can feel it, especially as you lower the intensity. Plus the driver offers poor comparability with Lutron Caseta (your mileage may vary). To avoid flicker at lower intensities, I’ve had to bump up the lower limit to around 70% of total light output, so essentially this is a non dimming fixture for me.

Not many choices in this size but works great so far, 2 months post-install. I really didn’t like the super cheap silver trim ring. It’s very bad looking. It looks like bumpy chromed plastic but for my application it will be hard to see so will be acceptable.

I did like this light with the exception of it not being UL listed. I feel the 120 volt side of this light including the driver should be enclosed in an electrical box of some sort for it to be completely safe. This box would need to be able to fit through the hole that is made for the light.

Nicely built..purchased for my study cabinet.. had to return eventually though not because of the quality, however the top portion would peek through the ceiling of the cabinet..
