Read if they're hard to open!!
I read before I purchased, that people found them hard to pull apart. I thought "big deal" but yees! Lol They are and it's a pain BUT!!! Hack!!!...PULL THEM APART FROM THE BOTTOM UP! Not sure why but it's almost effortless pulling them apart this way. You're welcome :)

Clears up mucus
I bought these for my adult son. He has had mild asthma growing up. Mainly seasonal triggered by very cold or humid weather. Sometimes it could be cats or dogs. Right now he has a nagging cough. Sometimes he needs to take prednisone to clear up the cough. These used with his nebulizer really clears up the cough. He doesn't need an albuterol treatment. That just leaves him jittery and still with the cough. After a few treatments his cough was more productive and his cough didn't sound so harsh. He wasn't used to this type of treatment so he was a little itchy behind his ears. After the second nebulizer treatment he said he was fine. I also have mild asthma and I tried the treatment also. I also felt a little itchy behind my ear and near my mouth. I've been home self isolating and cleaning house so my chest was a little tight. I tried on treatment and was soon coughing up quite a bit of mucus. I felt much better after one treatment. I only used 1 vial. These treatments are a good alternative to stretch or alternate your abuterol sulfate inhalation medication. My 4 grown sons all periodically get sick and may need a nubulizer breathing treatment. Each one is different and needs a different treatment. If cost is an issue these are inexpensive and work to clear up your lungs of mucus. You'll need to purchase a nubulizer that comes with the tubing kit and face mask. If your chest is tight you may want to get asthmanefrin. The medicine in these vials are best used in the smaller mini hand held vaporizer. There small amounts of liquid medicine in the vials so they don't work the regular size nebulizer that used the face mask ,medication chamber and tubing. Over the Holidays they all got sick and depleted my stock of advair, albuterol puffers and liquid albuterol sulfate inhalation solution. Since they all haven't been to their regular doctors in a while they can't get refills till they make appointments. Since covid 19 they can't get any appointments till June. I purchased these for just in case.

Great individual 5ml ampules!
Great individual 5 ml ampules! Helped my sinusitis tremendously along with my nebulizer & a drop of Lugol’s 2% Iodine solution! Here’s how I prepare my 3 ingredient mix for my nebulizer: I open one 5 ml ampule & put it in my nebulizer cup plus, then using a 1 ml dropper, I added 1 ml of food grade 3% Hydrogen Peroxide; plus 1 drop of Lugol’s 2% iodine solution, then gently shake the nebulizer cup to mix these 3 ingredients; put the cover on the medicine cup & hook up the tube to the cup & nebulizer machine & attach your mouthpiece or mask & start nebulizing! WOW! Instant relief for my congested sinuses! The great thing about buying these individual 5 ml ampules, is that you don’t waste anything, you just mix up one individual batch each time for your nebulizer, it’s fantastic! What are you waiting for? Get some now, you won’t regret it!😉

problem with packaging
I have used the modudose saline vials for years. The product works well to hydrate my scleral lens. My concern in the last year or so is that the individual vials are very, very difficult to separate which was not the case in past years. They come as a set of 4 attached vials with a total of 100 per box. It has also become more difficult to open each vial. As I try to pull them apart, I sometimes inadvertently pull off the tops of 2 vials instead of 1. I only use one at a time so want them to stay sterile until I am ready to use them.It would be great if this packaging problem could be fixed.

Relief!
I love this! I use this in my nebulizer at the first signs of chest tightening from allergies, cigarette smoke, smog etc and a number of other things and most times I do not need to use my albuteral medication. A must have if you have asthma or any other upper respiratory conditions.
