Smith & Wesson

This Roy Jinks' book is a fine collection of historical images describing the history of Smith & Wesson firearms. I ordered it and "History of Smith & Wesson" together.

Roy G. Jinks est l'historien officiel de la société Smith et Wesson. Il a écrit plusieurs ouvrages sur les armes produites par cette célèbre firme. Le présent ouvrage est d'une nature complètement différente : il présente des photos anciennes des ateliers, du personnel et de tireurs utilisant des revolvers S&W. C'est une agréable iconographie qui replonge le lecteur au cœur de l'histoire américaine.

The book arrived on the date stated when ordered. I'm very happy with the book, I've almost finished reading it, my wife even picked it up and had a read, she would almost never read anything to do with firearms. Nice to see that the book is printed locally.

This would have been a perfect coffee table book for all of us gun nuts but the quality is much lower than expected. Not enough pages, hard to fully open the pages without breaking the binding. Overall, the book is way too small to be handled the way it should.Content is good, but is oriented on people and factory history, not very much on the products.It is definitely not a must have or a starter book, more adequate for the seasoned gun lover.

Schöne alte Aufnahmen, leider in Englisch. Man freut sich wenn man diese alten FFW sieht. Ich denke der Autor (Historiker der Fa. S&W) hätte noch deutlich mehr an Infomateial, das zu veröffentlichen, sich sehr lohnen würde.....
