It's retaining odor of oil and vinegar based marinade. Washed twice, still smells. Any suggestions?

If you have stainless pots, try brushing it over the stainless making sure to use good pressure so each bristle touches the stainless. The iron in steel is a natural attractant to odors. That's why stainless bars work to remove odors from your hands. I just brush mine against the steel while I'm washing my pots. Works good!

Best way to handwash??? I have a norpro silicone bristle and the base is always hardest to clean, any ideas for how to clean this brush?

I use "OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Palm Brush" with a little dawn and hot water. not bad to clean by hand!

The actual brush is 1 3/8 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The handle is 6 1/2 inches long.

Yes, it is. The bristles are silicone, which is generally heat resistant to about 450 degrees or so. I'm not sure about what the handle is made out of, so be careful to not rest it against the heating surface. I use this for buttering a hot waffle iron at least once a week--it works great!

Gutes Produkt ohne „Haare“Zu verlieren

Ich habe speziell einen Backpinsel gesucht, der nicht ständig beim Bestreichen von Lebensmittel oder der Pfanne, „Haare“ bzw. Borsten verliert, so wie das oft bei den einfachen Backpinsel mit Naturborsten ist. Dieser Pinsel ist hitzebeständig, man kann direkt damit Butter in einer heissen Pfanne verstreichen, ohne das er Borsten verliert. Er liegt gut in der Hand und kann super in der Spülmaschine gereinigt werden ohne das er seine Form verliert. Er wurde auch sehr schnell geliefert. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde ihn jeder Zeit wieder kaufen.

Good Quality so far - recommend.

I’m an avid baker and I love the quality of OXO products. This brush does the job. Just wish it came in an alternate handle length also. Easy to wash with soap and water. NO shedding of bristles has occurred so far. Good quality.
