120V Coil 2 Pole FLA 40 Amp Definite Purpose AC Contactor

Works Great! just remember the coil contacts are on each side!

My Mount Vernon pellet stove melted the main board and power supply from the ignitor amperage running through the boards. I replaced both the main board and power supply (and they are very expensive). Now the main board energizes the contactor, then the contactor energizes the ignitor. The main board turns the contactor on, it doesn't directly power the ignitor removing the high amp load from the main board and power supply. The boards should last the.life of the stove now.

I'm using this contactor for a 5HP Weg motor (shop compressor) and so far in about the last 2-3 months, it cycles flawlessly with no visible delaching sparks or anything. My only minor complaint is that the coil hums, but I believe this is normal and can only be solved by adding a choke/toroid. The frame is rigid enough, the screw terminals are strong enough for max torque from the screw driver.

Installed this where I already had several, wired up the same, but coil is bad, keeps clicking on and off. Re-did the coil leads, swapped with another just to make sure. Just this one is the problem.

On putting the spade connector to the coil the fragile plastic bit broke, rendering the unit worthless.
