GE LED Book Light Pink Color

My wife and I love these! I'll be curious to see how long they actually last but I have gotten through most of the Harry Potter series and a couple of other books. So far I have had no issues with the light and have found it to be slightly dim on larger paged books, but for the most part it's perfect and does what it was intended to do. The clip that attaches to the pages could stand a little improvement but it's easy enough to find a way to make it work.

I was looking for a light for my basic kindle (no backlighting). I tried several others but didn't like the way they fit on or they wouldn't light up the whole screen. This one does the job well! I can even use it with my leather kindle cover on. The light is bright enough to light up the whole screen well but not so bright that it disturbs my sleeping husband. Being LED the batteries last quite a long time compared to other book lights. The design of the light is even great for setting up on my nightstand to have a light for knitting or other similar type things during the night when insomnia strikes. It's also lightweight enough that it can be used on paperbacks or magazines. I'm very pleased with this light!

This is a great book lamp. I had one years ago, and have been looking for another one for so long. If you are a bed time reader, it will give you plenty of light and still not disturb the person next to you. It is also great for car trips. I have used other lamps, but just prefer this one.

This is a small lightweight powerful light that lights up nicely.the drawback is that you have to fold the light closed to turn it off and open it to turn it on so you have to take it out of the book to close it properly.There is no on/off switch so on the nightstand in the dark you have to fumble around to find it and put it back on the book each time which is a bit of a nuisance

I love my new book light because it is PERFECT. I'd used an identical one for YEARS before it broke, and I was thankful that I was able to replace it. I didn't find one in the usual places that I shop, and my original book light came from Walmart in Fredericksburg, Texas, several years ago AND a long way from home.

The two main reasons I do not like this book light are: the light does not cover the entire reading area and the light bulb is glaring in my face as I read. I will admit I am using it for a study Bible, so the book size is a bit larger than normal, but that aside, I do not like that there is not a shield for the bulb. The bulb is bright enough, but it is glaring and distracting. My husband ordered a different book light, cheaper at the time of order, that had a longer bendable neck so that it could be positioned higher and cover more of the page and the bulb was enclosed so that it was not glaring in my face. I would not recommend it, there are better ones out there.

This light had good reviews so I got two, one for a gift. It is hard and unbalanced, to clip on your book cover, to begin with. It's supposed to light up when you simply open it. Well..... It opens! But the light does not come on all the time. And? You have to practically " move" it around from paragraph to the next, manually. I just wanted to Clip, Click and Go! I have now ordered another type, having wasted my money here. It was inexpensive, now I know why): . I don't know How in the hell it got all these good reviews, because in MY opinion? It's a shell game. And I, picked the wrong shell!

Works alright but have to reposition it when reading a hard cover book as it will not cover both pages at the same time sufficiently.

This was bought as a gift for an elderly woman after her previous one died. It was delivered on time. She reports that it's very good; better in fact than her previous one, so she is thoroughly satisfied. It's a huge bonus that it uses AAA batteries, which is rare these days for book lights. She keeps some AAA batteries in her house, so she won't have to make a special trip to get button cells. Also, AAAs are much easier for her to handle and replace.
