For when you need a low intensity indicator
I used two of these indicators in an electrical circuit for our new fish pond equipment. One inside to indicate that current is flowing to the outside box (it will stay on 24/7) and the other to indicate that a single outlet is energized (this outlet is for pond heater and the indicator will be off most of the time).5☆if it was threaded to receive a retaining nut and rubber grommet.

A great little light
I bought this for a control panel that I'm building. It appears to be of good quilt y. I installed it and the light worked well during a test.so far so good.

120 volt indicator
Inexpensive way to know if power is on! Use a manual transfer switch during outages and always turn main off for safety. Mounted forward of the main breaker this little guy lets you know when power is restored.

I didn't realize there was no retention device with this light so I had to super glue it in place!

Worse buy.
These where originally advertised as 12 volt. To my disappointment they where 120 volt AC 60Hz.
