Just what I wanted
This is insanely overpriced for what it is, but I had a specific SHAPE that I wanted, and this is the only one I could find. I've used a mineral deodorant for a couple decades. I will NEVER use anything else. My only problem is when I drop one, it shatters on the tile floor. So, I specifically wanted a round or oval one to fit in my large hand and would glide easily and securely where I want to use it: pits, groin and feet. Yes, I'll get real here. This will keep the funk off your junk and keep your feet sweet (Hey, there's a tagline for ya!). No kidding. Leave all those areas "damp" after your shower and rub it on your pits, under and on your balls, and the soles of your feet and between your toes. There are NO CHEMICALS that can do as good or better job of keeping the bacteria at bay. That's what causes the stink in all those areas. AND, these suckers last for YEARS! (That is, if you don't drop it on your tile floor and it shatters into a hundred pieces!) In that sense, the price for this particular one, though WAY above the norm, is still a good value.

Eco-friendly β Great Value
When I first started buying deodorant stones 25 years ago they were not attached to a non-recyclable plastic applicator (that's why I started buying them!) and nowadays Wild Thyme's deodorant stone is the most eco-friendly product available, while also being the best value; you get an ample size stone and nothing else but the packaging. And Wild Thyme packages this in minimal material; I have a small, recyclable box and a small piece of waxed tissue paper to discard.Using a stone without it being attached to something requires some technique. Most especially, that your hands should be dry so it doesn't slip. If I'm not still wet, just out of the shower, I get the end of the stone wet under a small stream of water from the the tap. It's a mineral salt and it needs water and some friction to dissolve. I spend 10-15 seconds rubbing it on my armpit, and often wet it a second time and repeat.
