This product is very good for me.

The inner leg pegs are fragile. My 4 year old broke one while trying to put it back. Probably better for an older child.

ARRIVED BROKEN the two times we tried to order!

We live in Colorado and my son loves going to the river to see what he can find. This turtle is perfect he is cute and easy to handle for my little guy. If your little one loves to discover new stuff in the river or even in your own back yard this is a great gift for them.

We love this toy! We have lots of sand and dirt in our woods. Our son has spent hours out there with his turtle, sifting and looking for treasure! It's a nice size for little hands and great to travel with because it fits so easily under the seat or in a backpack. Great toy!Disclosure: I received this item for free. All opinions are my own.

We received the great excavation turtle from EI to review. We have 3 kids (5 1/2 and 4 yr old twins) and a huge sand box in the backyard that they love. It looks like so much fun! I thought they would love it. The shovels and tools are very small for a 4 and 5 yr old. And they can't pop them back on to the turtle base. We lost one for a week, then I found it in a bucket. There are 4 different tools the kids can use. The sifter is fun, but the little tools get thrown aside for the bigger shovels we have already in the sand box. If I had just one child, it would probably be more fun for them because they could get more into using the one you, but 3 kids are a little crazy in the sand box.

My two year old son is in love with Turtles so we loved this gift! It was great to play with outside in our backyard but even better at the beach. My 4 year old son wanted to play with in the bath as well. Lots of fun. Tools are very sturdy and easy to use for both boys. They snap in place as the legs of the turtle pretty easy. Easy to hold or play with. Great for summer exploring.

We received this toy as apart of a play panel tester. We've used it at the beach and in our backyard several times and love playing with it. I gave it only three stars because the first one we received had a broken piece and EI sent out a new one immediately. So we definitely love their customer service. I could see where if you're little one isn't too careful they could pop off the connectors for the legs (tools), but we've been having a blast playing with the turtle.
