JUST FOR BOYS

Very good book to give boys who are starting puberty. Nothing sexual or inappropriate at all. The information was all factual, and interesting. My son gave the typical embarrassed eye roll when I gave it to him, but he has made references about it several times. He also asked if he could read it instead of his usual reading book for school reading. I was worried there was going to be references to porn, and other things of that nature but I was pleasantly surprised. It also talks a lot about healthy diet, exercising and hygiene. Great book, would recommend to anyone with preteen and teen boys.

Very disappointed in this book. Waayyyyyy too wordy and minimal visual images to help explain what all these words mean/what it actually looks like in real life. plus a section in sleeping in? Really? Returned within 5 minutes of delivery.

Perfect book for younger boys who are just starting to have questions, or who have started puberty earlier than usual. This book explains a lot without giving too many explicit details. Other books we ordered went into detail about masterbation and sexual activity, but this book stays away from those topics. It explains the changes to their bodies; such as pubic and underarm hair, body odor, change in size of penis and testicles and voice changes. It also makes recommendations for exercises, healthy eating and explains how important certain vitamins are to your health.Highly recommend for boys ages 10-13. Older boys should probably go with another book like American Medical Association Boy's Guide to Becoming a Teen.

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I just have it to my son and stated read it. If you have questions you feel free to ask. After my son read the book he stated it was very helpful and he had no questions. It certainly explained the basic stuff that a young boy needs to know for now while his body is making a change.

My 9 year old has been asking questions that i dont want peers answering or him being too embarrassed to ask me what he really wants to know. Its easy for him to read and keeps his attention brilliant!!
