Disappointed
I am a Joseph Joseph fan and treated myself to this set as i got new kitchen. Well disaster happend , cooked a curry on the first day and now I have a GREEN/Grey spoon and spatula, turmeric colour cause this. I had cheap black set in the past, they are still as new.. brought them in now as i left those in the garage for Charity shop. and Now i need them again. Would not recommend if you do curries etc.. good as a show piece.

cutting costs/ poor quality control/ fake product?
to say i was disappointed would be an understatement.have been using Joseph Joseph kitchenware since 2011. A few of my old spatula and spoons are still in my mother's kitchen. there's a visible difference in finish between the older batch and these bought a few days ago. i'm sure the materials are very good, they just don't have the premium feel/look i was expexting.are the utensils good? yes. will they last long and age well? let's see!the rotating carousel only spins up to 270° and is quite stiff. the rubber ring on top is free floating and does not rotate the carousel. very disappointing... and calls into question the quality/build of the rest of the set.for this price, you'd expect it to be flawless! unfortunately, the set has neither the mechanical perfection nor premium feel i was look forward to. :(both my partner and i have a longtime attachment to Joseph Joseph, so finding it hard to return the set. but not fully happy with the purchase.

Avoid - Joseph Joseph do not honour their product guarantee!
Original 3* review below - now edited to one star:The other day I lifted a utensil off the carousel, now on a few other occasions the carousel has taken a wobble but not toppled over, however on this occasion it toppled over after I lifted a utensil off with the other utensils popping off and the carousel landing on the floor. The top of the carousel sheared off.I contacted Joseph Joseph about this both to make them aware of a defect with the product and also in the hope of a replacement carousel as the accessories now have no home. Joseph Joseph were rude, accused me of damaging it and advised they would not do anything further.Shocking customer service for such a high priced item. Truly disappointed and will now no longer purchase any Joseph Joseph products as they had no interest in diagnosing the carousel instability issue at all. The cheap plastic carousel would be easily replaced by them at very little cost. Very very disappointed from such a premium brand.Their 3, 5, 10 year guarantee obviously stands for nothing as this product is only 6 months old.Original review below:Ok so look and functionality are good. The utensils themselves feel great quality and look the part, we've used them for around a week now and are both very happy with them. The stand however does not look great or feel great quality, but when the utensils are on them you'd be none the wiser. Here's the sticking point. The price. I got them on a lightning deal at £40, i'm led to believe this is a low price for them. At £40 they are a nice luxury. However at the RRP or anywhere near it, they are an extortionate price. Each to their own though.

Carousel of springboard?
Great utensils with a neat idea for keeping messy spoons off work surfaces. But if you put them in a pan then the counterweight acts like a catapult and somersaults the utensil out of the pan spraying food all over the place. That's too easy to do as you are always used to leaving spoons in pans - or I am, anyway. After a while we worked out that if you turn the spoon over whilst left in the pan then it stays put. So 4 stars from me.
