Great toy gift for children
Got the items way before the estimate delivery date which is very good. However the box was hot when arrived. Keep it for a while to cool down then open it for kids. The slime/green slimy was damaged due to heat and explode incontainer which made it messy and unable to use the slime/slimy and had to be thrown away

Expensive but fun.
My son throughly enjoyed all the activities in this egg. Much more expensive than in our home country, but hey ho.

Son loved it, but limited play
My son has nagged and nagged and nagged me for this, and I have finally given in and he has it as an early birthday present. We even got to the point where he was watching an unboxing video of it every day on YouTube haha!Anyway, my son had a fun half an hour with it, there are lots of different elements to it- you have to find all of the different dinosaur bones, some are in slime etc, but once they’ve all been uncovered there wasn’t really much interest in it.Pretty cool toy, but not sure it’s worth the £20 price tag (we bought when it was £15 on offer) as the play with it is limited. However it was £15 well spent to stop the nagging haha!

Great fun but short lived.
It’s hard to say whether this is good value for money or not. Extrinsic value is no, but the joy from my six year old son said otherwise.First off, he had to smash the massive egg that contains everything. Then he spent the next hour or so sifting through sand, gloop, as well as digging and dissolving various bits and pieces to unearth different bones. The bones then form a complete dinosaur skeleton which doesn’t really have any function other than to look cool.He was very happy with his smashers epic Dino egg and whilst he was going through all the bone hunting he was a very happy and contented boy.Once that’s all done, there’s very little left to do except clean up the dust and plastic that gets left behind.Great fun to start with but with no real playability once the set is completed this loses a lot of its value. Then again that could be said for all smashers which are even more short lived. In all honesty, Treasure X is a better alternative to smashers, but it was fun whilst it lasted.

Surprisingly good
I'm not a fan of plastic toys but my 6 year old is.. so decided to get this as part of an Easter surprise for him. I was a bit apprehensive about the amount of waste coming and how things would be just thrown away after a while. But I have to say, although there is a lot of plastic in this toy, it can't be denied, it has given my son hours and hours of entertainment in the last few weeks. The smashers eggs are relatively easy to put back together again (by a grown up) with the nest tool provided. I have spent quite a lot of time doing that.. there was slime with dino bones hidden in (always a winner), magic sand with bones in, rock to excavate to find more bones etc.. all these little bits put together then make one bigger dinosaur toy. Also, the outer shell, with a bone stuck on it, seems to be just right size for a true explorer's helmet. I was very happily surprised, I suppose that's what the aim with surprise toys is supposed to be...

"Smash" hit!
We spent just over £10 for this egg. It was amazing value. When we couldn't have a birthday party for my 4 year old, this ended up saving the day.My 4 and 5 year old boys spent well over an hour having the time of their lives doing each of the little activities to find the bones (definitely put a plastic sheet down before you start, it gets messy!).They then helped me build the dinosaur and enjoyed playing with it together. In theory you can rebuild the small eggs, but we really strugged and gave up with those, but the big egg is very easy to re build. The boys spent the rest of the day putting things back in the egg and taking turns to re smash it. They were then fighting over over who got to take the egg to bed... So needless to say, definitely a tenner well spent!

Perfect for a day of fun!
Really good for a fun afternoon of activities. My daughter is really into dinosaurs at the minute (she's 3) and she absolutely loved this. We spent about 3 hours completing this - the longest she has sat for anything. So much to do and when the initial fun of discovering the dinosaurs is over she still has all the smaller ones to play with aswell as her large fossil one (more for a decorative piece though as its not very sturdy) There is a bit of a knack to getting the eggs back together. Have bought the ice age one too so waiting on it being delivered. Tip. Complete at a table or on a large plastic mat as it is very messy, but great fun!
