Fantastic protection for your square 10" kicker.

This could be mistaken for hard plastic bit its lightweight metal. It seems sturdy enough to take some abuse in a trunk or under/behind a seat. The texture is rough but has a nice appearance. You may have to use longer screws. It gets a 9/10 only because of the rough finish.

Great look n harder then they looked. Thought it might have been flimsy or break easy but I have put my weight on one and it held strong. "150lbs" clean looking and dependable for the price. Cant beat it.

Was a lot more sturdier than I was expecting it looks good and I feel comfortable that it will protect my speakers

Being cast aluminum it's pretty light but it feels solid and well made. Certainly better than a plastic grill. It should help protect my L7 in the trunk. It looks great too. It really should come with the speaker though.
