COOL LOOKING
Man, this is probably one of the coolest looking pair of kneepads I've seen.. and the loud green standout color is nice too.I have a horrible time with kneepads, every pair I've ever owned always gathers and bunches up my jeans behind my knees at the top of my calf and starts to give me brushburn and gets painfulThis pair here for the most part pretty much eliminated that issue. But how they are designed, no matter what I do or how tight I make them, I have the consistent sensation of them being loose in the knees, like it feels as though they are falling off, I attempt to pull them up but they are perfectly in place, yet the knees feel loose still, so all day long I'm going to grab em and pull em up but they are already up..MAN THAT IS AGGREVATING!! , I'm gonna keep them because feeling like they are falling off when they aren't is better than the brushburn deal on top of the calves...Long story short, they LOOK COOL, they work as they should protecting the knees, and all day long they feel like they are falling down when they aren't. I don't know, if ya can deal with that issue then they will be a fine choice for you..but if something like that bugs the sanity out of you then leave em Be..

Not stable and straps don't really keep them put.
The padding is very comfortable when actualy kneeling on it properly. The top thigh strap doesnt do much to hold the actual pad from sliding down and shifting all the time. The plastic conectors between the thigh strap and the kneepad keep unscrewing. They are good and comfortable if you are staying kneeling for a long time. Don't get up and move around cause the straps shift so much specially when wearing pants. Not worth the price. Just go with the yellow colored competition. I only use them if i know its a job where i won't be moving around too much.

DO NOT BUY
When we got they were way to hard for our guys to were, I returned. Had to pay for freight to return and the credit I got was 3.99. Big rip off!

Better at Keeping the Pad in Place
I ordered two different sets of knee pads so I could compare them and got to use both on a commercial project site. Both had hard front shells that performed well around dropped screws and other debris. Both had a foam/gel combination that was comfortable to kneel on (these perhaps a little more comfortable). The key challenge for both was to keep them in position on the knee. If you have chicken leg, this is probably hopeless. For normal legs (like mine), the key seems to be to get the lowest strap as high as possible on the calf.Of the two, this pad performed better: - The lower strap was narrow(er) and flexible so it was easy to rest it high on the calf. - The upper strap connected "across" the thigh and didn't pull the pad down. Obviously, it still kept the top of the pad from getting away from you.Two notes that didn't change my preference between the two: - This is twice as expensive. - On one occasion, I squeezed my legs together to avoid a guy and caught the frame of one leg on the frame of the other, losing my balance.

Great for working
I bought these as a gift for a relative who does home repairs. He spends a lot of time bending and working on his knees. He found these really helpful.
