Replacement Microphone Compatible with Astro A40 TR Gaming Headset (Black)

I've had my Astro TR for 4 years now and the microphone began to fail giving lots of feedback and crackling. I bought this to attempt to get this headset functioning and it worked like a charm!

I liked the mic piece because I can use it to talk. Had to knock off a star though because the mic monitoring is a little weaker on it than the original, but that might just be because I’m using original A40s and not the TR. that aside it’s a very good mic piece.

We used this to replace one that was tore up on a teens gaming headset. Works well, no issues of it being to quiet or loud background noise according to the friends that the teen games with. Would buy again if I need to replace another one down the road.

Was stated to fit astro a40s but it doesn't stay plugged in, I literally had to push it in and hold it in place just to get the mic to work.

Works as should no problem so far. It's only been a few months but hopefully it work for years to come till it's time for a new headset

The mic on my Astro A40 headset went out. This did the trick.
