NECA - Blade Runner 2049 - 7" scale action figure - series 1 Officer K

Given as a gift to a friend who LOVES Ryan Gosling and she was amazed at the facial likeness of the figure

Just a few more days until Blade Runner 2049 debuts and the excitement is getting to me. Director of the sequel Denis Villeveuve has commissioned a few short films that are up on youtube and they are amazing, and with NECA releasing these action figures my excitement just keeps on building. I read some comments online about this Officer K figure not looking like Ryan Gosling, to me I think this head sculpt is nearly spot on. Like Harrison Ford, I can tell Ryan Gosling has a hard to capture likeness and I think NECA did great job, especially in this scale.Since I’ve yet to see the film, I’ve no idea what kind of accessories these figures should come with, but both Rick and Officer K come with their signature PDK pistols, so that’s good enough for me. One could always make their own Unicorn origami to accompany their Rick Deckard figure if they wanted. Is Rick a replicant? Office K sure seems to be (from what trailers show/tell us), I love the coat this character/figure wears. The overall detail to his coat, the paint apps all over the add dirt and grime and weathering is great, and though the pistol is rather small it has tons of detail and multiple points of paint. NECA year in and year out continues to get great license and you can tell the teams that sculpt/paint and do the box art have love for the figures they make, and this is no exception. Sure I’d practically kill for figures based off the original film, but I am more than pleased to get figures from the forthcoming sequel. Glancing at the box, the back tells us we’ll get 2 more figures in a 2nd wave (if this first wave sells well enough, fingers crossed) via Luv and Niander Wallace. After watching one of the Blade Runner shorts “2036 Nexus Dawn”, I am really excited to see more of Niander’s character and would like his action figure. This figure comes FULLY APPROVED.

Très belle figurine de l'agent k, on reconnait bien Ryan Gosling. Le plus de cette figurine est clairement le manteau très stylé qui donne un super look à cette figurine. Merci pour ton vote utile.

Cool little guy, although the original paint job wss far too 'clean' and it didnt do the detailing any justice. Like many from this brand a little re-paint and they shine. You dont have to even use anything special - I soon fixed mine with some found materials such as an little eye-liner to dirty him up and some Sharpies pens to add dirt, grime and blood also some webbing for a broken nose! It now looks 100% better, otherwise a dear little chap.
