Great doorbell. Easy set up and changing of chimes which are far improved from the usual ding dong. Has volume adjust button which is good for flat. Double sticky tape let's you stick onto front door and holds very well. Receiver can be moved around and can be wall mounted if you wanted. AA batteries are not included for receiver but battery for Bell part is. Good quality and great for price. My only criticism is the instructions are rubbish.

Works a treat, easy to set up..

This has been great as we never had a doorbell and don't have electricity to hook up a mains powered one. I can take the speaker into the back garden or summer house and still hear when someone is at the door. Plenty of tones to choose from for special occasions (Christmas/birthday) and very loud so you can hear whatever is going on in the house. Easy to fit on door (one screw). An excellent purchase.

Good value and super simple to install using sticky pad supplied. You can get the screws out if you wish but that's not really necessary.

The set up was easy, comes with a battery for the button section but not for the speaker section. The speaker section is not too bulky as well, highly recommend.Various sounds include happy birthday, merry christmas, a rocky tune, generic doorbell sounds, fun sounds, etc.

Easy enough to set up, although you do have to look carefully at the pictorial instructions.Annoyingly, after closing the doorbell unit to set it up, the instructions for changing the ringtone are on the back of the page and meant I had to open the bell unit up again to get to the tune button……Wish I hadn’t bothered really, as the 16 tunes other than the initial ding dong are dire!Les Dawson on the glockenspiel and the old joanna at an eardrum puncturing shrill, playing all manner of awful tunes was simply shocking🙉. Take my tip to save your eardrums and stick with the simple tone it plays on set up!

A few reviews mentioned poor battery life, so I thought I'd leave it a while before writing a review. I can report that 18 months later, It's still going strong on the original batteries. Our house is large with multiple exterior doors, all of which various couriers think is the front door. So I ordered two twin sets and an additional press button. If you read the instructions carefully, It's possible to have each button play a different tune though all of the bells - very handy for knowing where the caller is.I was also impressed by its range - we have some 18" thick stone internal walls, and the bells chime reliably everywhere they're placed. Much better range than cheaper ones I've tried in the past. We have all four bells set up in various parts of the house. This takes up a lot of mains sockets, so having a mains socket on the front is essential for us. Delighted with this purchase.

I always try to see the good in things, but this thing is rubbish.It has 16 melodies which are truly awful, there are five normal sounding ding-dong chimes and the rest are dreadful. You cannot change the melodies other than taking the transmitter cover off the wall while standing outside, and cycling through the tunes. You can't even cycle backwards and forwards through the tunes either, you have to listen to each awful tune to finish before going on to the next ear-torturing episode. Plus there is a thin rubber seal in between the transmitter cover and the backplate which decided to ping off over and over again with the slightest movement, so more faff while standing outside the get the thing back on.I, needless to say, am returning this to Amazon as it has already wasted too much of my time. In fact, I would go so far as to say I actually hate it.
